Twenty eight year old, “Black Lives Matter,” activist dies in custody.
Ordered from her car after failing to signal for a lane change the female also failed to follow lawful orders of a white trouper. First was failure to stop smoking while in her vehicle. Second was failure to follow a lawful order to exit her vehicle after refusing to obey the stop smoking order. The trouper had to threaten the agitated woman with a drawn taser to make her comply. Unpredictably, from this point on the situation escalated into violence. The perpetrator was heard crying out in pain and further delayed the hand cuffing when the perpetrator complained about the trouper twisting and almost breaking her arm in the process. Whether reflexively or on purpose the perpetrator injured the trouper by allegedly kicking him. (Assaulting a police officer) This necessitated slamming the perpetrators head into the ground in the interest of officer safety. After cuffing the perpetrator he was required to hold her face down with a knee in her back until backup arrived. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuPvDMN73hQ
(Please everyone, signal your lane change intentions.)
The post above is in error where I said that the handcuffing was delayed. It appears she was handcuffed.
