New poll shows that fewer and fewer people believe Trump’s lies

As my attempted taxonomy of Trump’s broken vows suggests, different groups of voters may be basing their conclusion that Trump isn’t keeping his promises on different things. But at bottom, this all originates with the increasingly undeniable reality that much of what he campaigned on was based on one sort of lie or another.

Don't forget, "Read my lips. No new taxes."
Also others have lied after the election, IE "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
Also a constitutional professor that swore and oath to protect and defend the constitution, when he became President, signed into
law the NDAA.
Everyone should face the fact that ALL politicians and All people lie and the reason we don't execute politicians that are caught in lies is because we would exhaust the whole pool of politicians.
What looks good around the neck of a politicians - Answer = A Doberman.
What do you call ten politicians chained at the bottom of a lake? - Answer = A good start.
How can you tell if a politician is lying? - Answer = His lips are moving.
If you are not part of the solution, you're probably running for President.

ONE LINERS:
Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.
My favorite mythical creature? The honest politician.
The consensus after the election is that 100% of Americans think 50% of Americans have lost their minds.
America is a country which produces citizens who will cross the ocean to fight for democracy but won't cross the street to vote.
I don't approve of political jokes...I've seen too many of them get elected.
Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it and then misapplying the wrong remedies.
Stop repeat offenders. Don't re-elect them!
Democracy is three wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
The last time someone listened to a Bush, a bunch of people wandered in the desert for 40 years!

You still believe the polls? Remember way back to the 2016 election polls?
So many gullible and misinformed.

How did anyone believe neocon Hillary was the best choice?
Did WW3 seem like a good idea or something?

Thanks Warren. My only degree is a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (I love flying). Years later I tried to add a Masters in Electrical Engineering, but my Aero & Astro undergraduate degree was just a bit too far from EE, and I dropped out. I was also working full time in my career ... which didn't help.

But my hat is sincerely tipped to Bill Cummings for his great politician jokes. If you're on the left, you might think he's poking fun at the right. If you're on the right, you might think he's poking fun at the left. Masterfully done Bill. You'll get my vote if you run for anything ... especially anything related to hang gliding!!

Robert Reich wrote:In my experience, most elected politicians have two goals – to do what they consider to be the right things for the American public, and to be reelected (not necessarily in that order).

If Trump’s poll numbers continue to plummet – particularly among Republicans and Independents – twenty-two House Republicans may well decide their chances for being reelected are better if they abandon him before the 2018 midterms.

Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/16/us/politics/james-comey-trump-flynn-russia-investigation.html?_r=0
“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.

The existence of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.
