Not yet :( Still building muscle memory, controlling with feet on the pedals. With that much dihedral, it's pedal dominant control even though it has ailerons, 3-axis control.

A lot of moving parts!

Hell Joe #5,

Hope you are doing well.

About 120hr airtime now. Still no camera. :( Most enjoyable are the early morning, calm air. sunrise launches.

I went to San Antonio, Kitty Hawk Flight field, and spent 1.5hr with a fellow in a 2-place, very similar, Quicksilver. Learning to land.

Lots of drag, momentum goes away very fast when throttle is reduced. Landing speed is ~35mph. Keeping the nose down, stick forward, air moving over the control surfaces.

Round out 1ft. off the ground. Lots of dihedral, rudder dominant. Ailerons leveling the wings.

:salute:

For a while up until FAA 610 in Oklahoma stuck there nose in and started the silly sticker inspection BS I had 900 flights in trikes. Passed the written test for n, numbered CFI and only need the check ride. Then I realized things were getting too expensive and
gave up motorized trikes. Went back to HG only.

Cool, that Craft looks like it would be fun to Fly! I have had just two Flights flying Three Axis Control. On My second Flight I only had a Problem, a small amount of Pilo during our tow in that Two Seat Grob Sailplane. After I had landed the Gl\ider at the Byron Air-Park. My Instructor Michael Schnyder and I were standing next to The Glider. I said To Michael; "You know, We had a good tow, we released. We had a nice Flight and a good landing. So don't look so Glum. We will go XC on My Third Sailplane flight. Michael said that I was aggressive.

Hawks, Just to let everyone know I'm still alive, PTL .... There never has been the flying community out here like ya'll enjoy there and a lot of places.

Flying part FAR-103 keeps the costs down. One asx and 5gal gas. Gas is twice as expensive as it was a couple years ago.

I'm very conservative choosing flying conditions, not looking for thermals these days. I found out that all the moving parts aren't a problem, as long as they keep moving.

Had an engine out landing last year while cruising at ~500agl. Stick forward, hard left rudder for a 180* u-turn and lined up on a dirt strip, Griffith Ranch Airfield, US 6737,

South of town 10mi, near Garner State Park.

Takeoffs and landings have been uneventful.

 :salute: ,
Sam
