Check out November's USHPA mag. pages 10-15 for dolly information.

Thanks Bill, Your Sport 2 looks very stable and your site is great, I'd like to fly it some day. Yes I've looked at those photos, and they were very helpful if incomplete, We need a little more precision, how long, wide, tall, details, if we are to reinvent the wheel, it would be better if we don't have to start from scratch. Any thing you can find, on the web, or what ever will be great.THANKS tjm

Terry,
As far as perches go for the base tube I recommend some form of hand holds just under the base tube from whatever type of vehicle you are launching.

My launching dolly is second hand and has small wheels and a single continuous hold down strap which is not recommended. This dolly was made to hinge/fold up and be easily transported on a car top. Wheel sizes, I hear, are recommend to be at least 10 inches.

The strap could grab a speed bar or instruments. I also have to replace some wing nuts with Nylock nuts to eliminate snag points.

I haven’t seen any dolly plans on the web so far. Good luck!

Hey I posted a link to the John Pop dolly somewhere..
Did It get removed perhaps for mentioning that Jim Gaar stole the one that I had built?
It really worked well.

I didn't remove it, but we've been having problems with posts being submitted and then not showing up. :(

So what is the John Pop dolly?
