Joe Faust is recognized for his life time of labor to lift human spirits. Much of the growth of the sport of hang gliding throughout the 1970's was made possible by Joe's eternal joy of human flight. The HG community has become what it is with the decades of support by the most honorable Mr. Joe Faust, without his personal guidance many of the advances of the sport of hang gliding would have not blossomed so rapidly. Joe's continuing diligence in sharing fact based scientific information & creative ideas over the past 41 years establishes a standard of excellence in Hang Gliding that will not soon be duplicated-
