Yes I did. I remember that landing very well. I even remember what I was thinking.
I was thinking that I wanted to make the turn tighter, but I was worried about putting too much force on the bars because I didn't know how much torque they could take. So I applied just enough torque to bring it around into the wind right at touchdown. I knew the wheels would help or I would have pushed the turn (and my luck) a little further.
Now that's not to say that there's any known weakness in the design. It may be that those bars could take a few hundred foot-pounds of torque. But as I was coming in for a landing I didn't want to be the one to find out.
It really was a great trip, and I enjoyed the week from start to finish. Thanks to Frank, Red, John, Jerry, Sharon, Jenny, and especially Logan for making it so.
