Not sure I posted this right but thanx oscar. This commentary on an important subject. As soon as we "take off" my dad would constantly say "where you gonna land this rock", It's of course different in a "cessna", but valuable. We are not "invincible".

The devices help keep the propeller from slapping the ground if and when a pitching forward would occur in a landing.
