Consider a hang glider pilot who has been hang gliding safely for 47 years, who founded hang glider associations, who was a hang glider instructor, who was a hang glider manufacturer and is now a hang gliding pilot. Is he "eligible" to be subject of a court order to have the RRRG wrap him as an insured pending equitable capital input in the RRRG ? The courts have certain power to enjoin the RRRG to do certain things.

Joe, there is no question in my mind that people who want to practice hang gliding freely in the future should stay as far away from the RRG and the USHPA as possible. There are legal obligations to members which have been discussed previously on this forum. You do not want to get stuck with debt obligations for years for actions that are someone else's or some other group's responsibility. People who want to hang glide should seek out hang glider pilots and drive for them. After a while they will teach you. It's not a mass market thing. The mass marketing forces led by USHPA certified schools teaching hang gliding and paragliding provide a pretense of enthusiast competence but they are actually
destroying the sport by over-promoting it for profit. Hang gliding is an art. You can't mass market that. And teaching paragliding, because of the future potential of canopy collapse (it only needs to happen once), is a fool's errand. If you try, you end up with a lot of people who shouldn't be doing it. If you then take all the people who shouldn't be doing it and get every member of the USHPA to insure them, it's not going to end well. Don't get involved in it. Go outlaw or go home.

A lot of foolish people think they're hang gliding with parachutes - but nobody ever thinks they're parachuting with hang gliders.

Agreed. I got caught up in the legal challenge. Yes: STAY AWAY FROM THE RRRG, Joe and Bob ! Stay away.
Thanks. My gut is telling me that the RRRG is not going to be able to meet the financial health required by law; the mentality within the USHPA will surely grind out lawsuits from families that will collapse the funny parachute that the RRRG thinks it is. Stay away. Learn the art of HG by local methodical unrushed mentoring under recreational statutes.

Thanks again Rick. I hold you as one of my HG mentors, a group that includes Richard Miller and Bruce Carmichael. :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

Right! I didn't need no stinking school to learn to hang glide! Come to think of it - I didn't need another HG person at all, just a driver. However, it was good to watch the mistakes others made and learn from those.

Ah, yes, the school of hard knocks and i had plenty of those but all was good. If I had chosen a more forgiving glider, other than the high performance one I designed and built, I could have learned faster with fewer knocks.

Fighting the illuminati is not in vain, I was listening to Coast to Coast am 4/25/2017 I think and the guest said he saw a photo of New York City in 1910 and 1920. In 1910 it was all horses on the streets, in 1920 it was all autos with no horses. Also on CNBC Wilber Ross was investigating dumping of foreign aluminum and the US has only 2 smelters with only 1 capable of aviation aluminum, What with this do to the cost of Willswing hang gliders? will they all now be carbon fiber?

If you invest $150 a year at age 18 every year in the rrrg and retire at age 68 at 8% rate of return, and no pay outs, you will have $93,100.77 when you retire if the rrrg pays out its unused surplus.

Elsewhere, brilliant paragliding instructors seem know a lot about insurance.

Police and paragliding instructors charged with insurance fraud
By Renata Sena, O Sao Goncalo, Brazil

Accused of joining a gang that used the scheme known as "falsifying insurance documents" - which consists of forging vehicle numbers to receive insurance pay-outs by fraud - three men are being sought by agents of the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco) and the Secretariat of Intelligence (SSINTE) of the Secretariat of Public Security.
Earlier this afternoon, six others charged with joining the gang were arrested during Operation Voo Livre (Operation Free Flight), which also served 27 search warrants and seizures. Among the accused are civilian police officer Fábio Augusto de Mello Xavier, detained in São Gonçalo, during the operation that took place last Wednesday.
[Also] arrested were Natanael Azeredo de Ferreira and Lourival Rodrigues da Silva Junior, the Seagull. Both acted as paragliding instructors and were known in Niteroi for sporting activity. Vagner Ramos, Roney Petrucio Oliveira Nascimento and Paulo Henrique Saraiva Santos remain fugitives.
At the home of one of the accused, Fernando Tadeu Nascimento, in Teresópolis, agents seized cars and motorcycles, which will be traced by experts. According to the indictment of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the frauds consisted in the leasing or acquisition of cars using false documents and payments with "cloned" credit cards.
In the acquisitions, the gang transferred the ownership of the vehicles to another member of the organization, with the change of the municipality of registration to disguise the illicit origin. Then insurance was contracted and shortly thereafter a false report claiming theft of the vehicles was filed with the police. With the document, the insurer was notified and the compensation paid, for the benefit of the criminal group. The cars were stripped and their parts were sold.
Another fraud consisted of obtaining vehicles with false documentation and later dismantling, or registering cars with improper documentation with the Department of Transportation. As a consequence, the insurance companies sued innocent people who had their documents falsified by the gang.
The civilian police arrested were responsible for producing the false records of accidents to obtain compensation from the insurers. The 71st PD (Itaboraí), 72nd PD (São Gonçalo), 73ªDP (Neves) and 74ªDP (Alcântara) were the police stations where frauds occurred, in which Fábio provided his services while on duty.
"We know that his participation was very important for the fraud to happen. He knew what he was doing and even received money for his services. In one of the transactions we verified that he received R $ 400 for the accident report," explained the investigator Walter de Oliveira.

A PUBLIC MONOPOLY
CITY COUNCIL CORRUPTION AT TORREY PINES GLIDERPORT
Point of control and corruption is held by the city councils lease agreement

The Public should Vote, Voting No on Public Park fee's
(Fee's and control going to ? private leasehold fund, company , association , cartel or other , etc)
~ WHAT ~ WAIT ~ THERE IS NO VOTE ~

A Monopoly is a situation,
by legal privilege or other agreement, in which solely one party (leaseholder, company, cartel etc)
exclusively provides a particular product or service, dominating that market and generally exerting powerful control over it.

A Privilege is the above the law privilege, Judge, Jury, trial and Executioner, enforced by threat & violence
A general threat, safety issues, false reporting and arrest, riddled with drugs and violence.

A Racketeering and Extortion operation, getting paid for park use, or for what is normally free to the public

Cornering OUR FREEDOM and the Hang Gliding Paragliding market is a form of extortion

A Corner is to drive (someone) into a corner or other confined space.

Monopolies

An exclusive self appointed control and Privatization of a normally Free Public Park,
Cornering All business, trade or production of a commodity or service through exclusive leaseholder possession.
(by Possession of a unlawful corrupted City Lease Arrangement)

Getting paid for what is free by their own authorities. The privilege granting themselves the exclusive right to exert such control.
(By Mayor X , the City Council, King Pin or Boss.)

Our public park, The Hang Glider, Paragliding market and more thus controlled.

MAYOR X and The HOLDER (Leaseholder, person, company, association, cartel or other)
Any holder of such market domination in one of the the above manners can be held accountable for crimes against the public.

Rich Uncle Pennybags is the mascot of the game Monopoly.
He is depicted as a portly old man with a moustache who wears a 3 piece suit and top hat.

It's a good thing all those gullible hang glider pilots paid into the RRG to insure spectators against paragliders!
