Icarus I by Taras Kiceniuk has some interface. Delta Wings Kites & Gliders, Inc. has some interface. But more. Seek images of further past than the mid-1900s kiting renaissance (gliding tensionally-hung payloads that then employed the kiting aerodynamic principles). Seek current status on projects.
