An adventure in biplane history is the text in the Herring-Chanute dispute about the invention of their biplane hang glider. Invited is a robust study on this matter. Kites, models, sketches, etc. are involved. Herring and Chanute saw things differently about their collaboration. Tail and truss come to play. Theirs was not the first multiplane glider, but the boxy "Chanute" or "Herring-Chanute" had it distinctiveness. Someone may compare Wenham's and Cayley's multiplane excursions. And Otto L. biplane. But the Herring-Chanute struggle is a neat focus in itself. How did Hargrave's box kites play in the matter? Fertile fun history arena!

The Easy Riser sure looks pretty, but it seems to me the visibility while piloting must have really been bad. Vision blocked up and down, and forward by your own big feet. Anybody have experience with one of these?
