When I got there, people were streaming from all directions to watch:
One of the "Helicopters of Paragliding" was on hand:
The view from the south showed that the rescue was on the "North Face":
On the walk around, I noted an impressive array of public service vehicles:
The rope and rescue crews were working diligently:
The stranded paraglider pilot was already getting a rope-assist down the cliff:
Gabriel Jebb looked on:
And overhead ... it was business as usual:
Nothing to see here folks ... just another near-death at Torrey Pines.
