Hey, those are great videos.

Bill, if you and Mike want to go tomorrow, I'll just call in sick or something. Good flying is good flying...

Actually I've ascertained that you have vision problems so just tell them you can't see coming to work tomorrow.
So before 9:00 I'll call Mike and see what his plans are --I left a message. I'll call YOU in the morning -- and take two Aspirin.

Thursday, March 24th looks good for flying at Dry Canyon. I can go out that day if I can get back home by about 4:30. Mike, Bill, Lee, Matt - anyone interested?

If I go I will drive myself in case conditions hold me beyond 4:30.
EDIT: On the 19th I got back just after 7:00pm.

Towing in LC Sunday Mar-27

Postby JanZ » Thu Mar 24, 2016 8:00 am

Hi Guy's,
I'm thinking about going out to LC to Tow again this Sunday afternoon.
I'd be there around 4pm. If we can get some HG towing going would be good.
I have 2 spare PG tow bridles, but best you bring your own if you have one.

Let me know if you're coming!

Mike E. Robin H. Jan Z (I can't spell last name.) Jameson M and Bill C went to the launch. (One PG, two HG and two Drivers.)
It was in the upper 50's at launch and all pilots got cold up higher. Robin had to work later so had to be broke down and headed home by 2:30 but was only 10 min late heading home. He will have to post but he took somewhere around 45 min. That's how long Jameson (sp?) and I took to drive the trucks down. Jan had a longer flight and froze his fingers. Mike went XC to the Big G LZ and his Kamel Bak had an ice sickle on it.
Mike had over a two hour flight.
As soon as it is done up loading to youtube Mike's video will be at:

Maybe the bunny hill across from the Mountain View Hospital will be good when the wind dies from 13 down to as low as 8 (Launch Code Forecast).
Weather Underground is showing 13 going to 11 mph North.
Dave C donated two more base tube speed bars, one with wheels to the RGSA Club. Thanks Dave
Dan, Robin test flew the big 195 sq' Falcon 2 so it is ready anytime you want to play with your little friends.
:shifty: Dan is not fat, by the way, just too big for the 134 sq' glider. :shifty:

Awesome flying Mike!!!      You are the Man!!!!

And great video editing Bill!!!

The view of White Sands was super. I still remember seeing it as I drove to work every morning over the mountains. But it never looked as good as it did from Mike's video.

RGSA!!!!
