I like to go remote uninhabited places. A ranch road north of a ghost town. Perfect!

I see that ridge of mountains when going from Alamo to El Paso and have always wanted to go there. I thought I might go if glider folk were there but I see the shortest travel is 170 miles ... at 16 mpg. Not happening. I miss the fuel efficiency of my small truck.
