I wonder if he was noting how many non-pilots are on the pilots' side of that red log.

====================
Where is my red shirt? Where is my red shirt?

===============

While the red shirts were assaulting park walking visitor at one end of the field,
they failed to notice the public citizen non-fee-paying non-private-corporation joiner
leap into the Federal uncontrolled airspace with a shirt wing and shorts wing for
a short glide ... at the park.

==============================
Get the Mall out of the park!

Hang in there Bob (but stop short of being arrested)!!! The story in the San Diego Reader was not at all flattering for the assholes at Torrey and could bring needed changes there!!!! I sure wish I lived closer to Torrey. With my 6' 5" height and menacing appearance (Ok, not too menacing) I'm sure I could help clear a path for you with no problem.

I sure wouldn't mess with you!!!

It was great to meet you at Dockweiler Phil!!

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on that event this year. As you can see, that event (born of your idea) has in turn given birth to the Friends of Dockweiler Gliding Society. :)

Check them out in the Chapters Forum.

If you mean "getting the ball rolling" by simply mentioning the idea to you, then it was my pleasure. You, however, took the ball and ran and ran with it - THANK YOU. Of course thanks to everyone who made that event happen. It was heartwarming to meet so many kind spirits and genuinely great people that showed up. The event reminded me of days long ago when pilots showed up to have fun, share stories, fly, and exude the joy that bird like flight provides.

:clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

BTW, I did join the FDGS
