Post subject:  Hang Gliding Outreach at UCSD
I took Little Hawk to UCSD today and had a great time letting people hold it, run with it, and hang from it.

Unfortunately, I only thought to get a few photos. These first two are photos of a Korean War veteran who went through Jump School at Fort Benning. We had a great time talking about Jump School and swapping stories from all the aircraft we'd jumped out of.

This last photo is a student who's very interested in taking up hang gliding, and I hope we'll see him at our next Second Sunday on the 12th.

So far, Little Hawk (the 65 square foot demonstration glider) is working out great. You can read more about it on the topic titled "'Little Hawk' - Demonstration Glider" at http://ushawks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=83.

At this time we've got about 6 UCSD students who are interested in learning more about hang gliding. Many of them will be coming out to our events this weekend (after finals!!) so they can get a better introduction to the sport. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to "Little Hawk" and to everyone who has helped with this project!!
