Two SSA members who also became S-SA members * knew each other in Southern California: Jack Lambie and Richard Miller. Jack's
Hang Loose tailed biplane hang glider without but weight-shift control (inadequate to handle gust upsets; it was for conservative easy airs for ground skimming). Richard Miller's signal sailor cap turned down tells us who is flying the Hang Loose on the cover of
Sport Planes in a 1971 Spring issue:
