So, even though the book by Russ is about his 1913 onwards powered aviation life, the fact he kept and displayed the hang glider photograph is telling. From a note surrounding his receiving an honorary doctorate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, my calculation puts your found photo in 1910. |
