Submitting Issues to the US Hawks Board of Directors

This forum is explicitly for US Hawks members who wish to submit specific requests to the US Hawks Board of Directors. You're free to submit any request you like, but please be mindful that your request must be something within the power of the US Hawks Board and within the scope of the US Hawks Hang Gliding Association.

If you would like to bring an issue before the US Hawks Board, please start a topic in this forum with an appropriate title and description in the first post. Please be very specific about the action you would like the US Hawks Board to take.

Please do not add any additional posts to your topic (or any other topic) in this forum until it is accepted by a Board Member for discussion (the Board Member will post to the topic to let you know how to proceed).

The details of this process are still being worked out, so please be patient.

Issue Handling Procedures (February 21st, 2015)

Postby Bob Kuczewski » Sat Feb 21, 2015 6:31 pm

Issue Handling Procedures as of February 21st, 2015

Based on discussions with the Trial Board Members, we've established the following procedure for handling issues:

  1. Issues may be introduced by either Board Members or US Hawks Members.
  2. All issues will be discussed by the Board in a private forum dedicated for that purpose.
  3. Upon reaching a decision, the topic being discussed (along with the actual vote) will be published.

This procedure may be modified by the Board as we learn what works and what doesn't.
