I was going to simply reply to Bob's post, . . . but then . . .
Mr. Colver. Hello! My first vario was one of your units. I loved it,
really. A few months before I bought it I learned what "thermals" were, and heard that something called a
variometer could help you find (and stay in) them.
And my first glider was a 17' Eipper Flexi-Flier Standard - way back in 1975. I still have its intact sail.
So, I suppose
.
. I will be looking forward to being able to get to the Otto Lilienthal Meet - way over there on the left coast.
History will clearly be revisited and perhaps even made fresh on the scene.
For Bob K,
Thanks for helping free up the rusty gears of motivation. I'm sure this will be a wonderful event. Now, . . . all I have to do, . . . is find a dog sitter!
