No One Died ~ No risk to Insurance ~
Just risking Hang Gliding at Torrey Pines Gliderport, others Pilots in the air and people on the ground.
(unless it a real good day.)
Not many Hang gliders show up anymore, due to Paragliding school operations, the political mess & THREATS to those who speak up.

The day was looking normal with the usual Torrey Paraglider crowd....
Wind was about 10 mph with a slight cross from the south.
Knowing the risk of flying a Paraglider, I chose to fly a bag rather than maneuver a hang glider thru the crowd in Light cross conditions
A skilled pilot should be able to use best judgment and fly safely without a ( Normal Crash Incident )
By adding the school to the crowded spot.
Gliderport management has turned a World Class Hang Gliding Spot into a ParaGuppy School with all the problems.
Torrey Pines was a strict Hang 4 site, Avoiding the problems of teaching in a crowded local Public site.
Forcing pilots to have substantial Mt time, logged & endorsed by an instructor.
This also produces a Much Better pilot & I Believe the old Rule/Law Should be reinstated
THE ARGUMENT BEING ~ Why should We assume a schools risk & liabilities or pay a third party to use our public park.
Para Mid Air ~ I believe one of the pilots was a student on radio ( Unmarked with NO YELLOW RIBBON )
I was flying southbound away from the North Face & approaching crowd , I heard people yelling throw a chute.
