The graph on the previous page shows estimated atmospheric CO2 for millions of years. It's generally believed that the decline in atmospheric CO2 corresponds to the sequestering of carbon in what we call fossil fuels.

The whole point is that putting CO2 into the atmosphere is an elastic and reversible process. The hysteria that we'll end up with a runaway green house situation (and end up like Venus) is not supported by the scientific evidence. So claims that President Trump will "melt the planet" are evidence of a biased and untrustworthy news source.

I tend to agree with this position with the understanding that we are in a competitive world. Ronald Reagan was effective at de-escalating the cold war by ramping up our military might. That approach takes time. President Trump is still in the first half of the first year of his first term. Don't be too quick to rush to judgement. Trump is a world class negotiator. Give him some time to see the results.

By the way, I find it interesting to note that the "Bob haters" began collecting signatures for my recall almost as soon as I was elected. Mark Forbes was more than happy to help them out. It took them over a year (of my 2 year term) to finally bring it to the ballot. It was another example of mass hysteria, and USHPA ended up losing their insurance because there was no oversight at Torrey Pines (and elsewhere). I lost the recall election in the spring of 2010, and Shannon's injuries happened in the summer of 2011. I had explicitly warned USHPA about a similar incident while I was Regional Director, but they ignored it. Their ultimate "solution" was to expel me for my testimony in that case rather than correct the problems. That's why the sport of hang gliding needs an alternative like the US Hawks. Despite the fact that we may not see eye-to-eye on a number of political issues, I very much appreciate your membership in the US Hawks and I hope we can work together to create a viable alternative to USHPA.

I've never heard of neural linguistic programming, but I spent a good portion of my career doing neural network programming. You can probably still find a few of my publications on the web from the 80's and 90's. I made some very minor contributions to the field, but I can't claim any major breakthroughs. If I had, you'd find my name featured more prominently in the literature.
