It is Ben's edited version and farther below is his original post.
It's hard to follow but it looks to me as though Ben went back after two of my,
"Reply to Post"(S) Edited his original post, making me an offer to delete all of my posts and then
he would delete his. Next Ben accused me of not agreeing to his offer in the affirmative.
To be clear: I made the first offer to delete if he edited two sentences.
Should Ben and I come to an agreement which will be tough to do with him altering
history, my offer still stands to delete my copy paste of Ben's post:
"He was expelled for making false testimony in a court.
This is called perjury and it is a crime."
I which case all mention of it on the OZ report will be removed.
However he waited too long (more than four hours) for me to remove any mention
here on the US Hawks. Here at the Hawks one can edit within four hours after the post.
I could be wrong but I think the edit time at the OZ Report is unlimited.

So Billy,

You think you can call daddy on me because of you letting out the chickens?
That is after you ran back and tourched the chicken coop to cover your error.

Put another way… You guys can make a personal attack on all of the OZ Report
and every member of USHPA and even yourself being a member of USHPA.
That is ok? But when I respond to being kicked while sleeping and enjoying a
normal life that you barge into, lighting fires and such with moral defense,
I am the attacker. You are a pile of mental delusions and bio waste…

If Davis banned me for saying what everyone already knows then it is his mistake.

Your threats of suing is just what you deserve brought down on your selves.
If you had a case you would have sued HSHPA or one of its members you
imagine single handedly evicted BK. But that is not true and neither is
all BK said in court. That is public record and I fear not your threats.

If Davis does then that is on him. However no one pressed the testimony
BK gave in court. Shall we see how it turns out this time?

Freedom of speech and I know my rights.

I am no soft target.. I am not daring you to sue me. I am telling you to
do more research about me. You better know who you are poking at
before you poke.

Open your squinty little eyes and know who else your poking at?
Your poking at Davis and every officer of USHPA and every member who
loathes your diatribe of "burn the house down." You are a bully and bullies

Here we go again.

BK was not expelled for making testimony in court.

He was expelled for making false testimony in a court.
This is called perjury and it is a crime.

Further expelled for violating the SOP's over and over again after many
warning to this effect. These warning's occurred over a period of years.

BK was and still is on a campaign to undermine USHPA and makes no
hiding of his agenda. He is loathed by 99.9% of USHPA members
who in their wisdom saw fit to expell him. There was a unanimous
vote by all voting members in complete public disclosure.

I am glad BK has a place to fly, and it is completely irrelevant to the
reasons he was expelled. Do I agree with some of his arguments above?

Yes I do.

If you want to use public land for any purpose and you meet that
land owners/mgr's requirements then it should be allowed.
A case by case permission should apply to organizations or individuals.

However this is no victory and no threat to USHPA by BK. It is an anomaly
of the mgt at Dockweiler Beach who decided to grant permission.
This is only until an issue occurs that puts this property in a liability.
That is USHPA's main mission, is reduce liability via membership rules
and insurance against tragic loss that is a common occorance in the history
of this sport.

To rub sand in the eyes of USHPA shows BK has learned nothing about
being a good member of anything.

To claim that 99.9% of the active community in this sport which is made up
of some very accomplished people who choose to expell BK is to rage
against humanity it's self.

To be so single minded and mis-led by your belief that you would commit
public suicide and call it murder is a testament to your illness.

You morons touting this as some kind of victory have errored in the worst way.
Instead of quietly flying and enjoying the moment proves you're not about
flying at all. You are about destruction and burning down the house of your
fellow flyers who would like nothing more than for BK to quietly enjoy a flight!

That can be by its self the most healing thing BK could do for himself and
all of us. I pity your little minds and your play ground fight that is all in
your imaginations. It is the ongoing arguments of dyslexic social misfits who
grew up thinking they were going to be a super hero.

The truth is everyone of your moms are more super hero than you will ever be!
All they did was live a normal life so you could have a chance at one. But you
just keep disappointing her every day. But since she is your mom she won't tell
you that. She just keeps loving you and hopes you straighten out before
Daddy gets home!

I know I talk in parables and such so here it is plain..
USHPA is your mommy and we all want the best for you and your misfit tribe.

"Fly and be free but don't tread on thee…"

Daddy is the town meeting you brought down on yourself because you did not listen to
mommy telling you over and over with patience.

I don't have a cute phrase for that one above because your not quite there yet.
However based on your guys track records it is going to get worse.

Just go away, fly away whatever, knowone really cares. If they did you would not
have to light a bon fire and dance around it to get attention!

The permission to use the site for hang gliding activities required a signed waiver with the County and is limited to the hours between sunrise and sunset on days that the concession (WindSports) is not using the site - currently Mondays and Tuesdays. We flew there today (Monday, July 31st, 2017) in accordance with that permission.

In order to obtain this permission, several meetings were held to discuss the need for this decision. Among the arguments presented were:

1. The County should not require membership in any private organizations (such as USHPA) in order for public use of public land.

2. The County should not require membership in any organization (such as USHPA) that expels members for legal testimony in a court of law.

3. The County should not require membership in any organization (such as USHPA) that expels members for making legai public statements to their local government.

4. The County should not require membership in any organization (such as USHPA) that expels members for creating competing organizations."

So it's ok for you to post "Ban away Davis" because I am with many people
offended by outright lies being broadcast here on the OZ Report?

Like I said, no one cares that BK flew, I don't care about that. I have little
interest in what BK even said to the Dockwiler Beach decision makers!

But when the misfits like you kick sand in our eyes and insult USHPA in
a worldwide forum it is you and Bill C. who should be banned. Just like
in HG.org if you even mention BK in any post , you are banned!

Are you really so far gone that you feel this kind of post should not receive
even more of a negative response than I have made?

What if I show the Dockwiler Mgt staff this very Thread and what the misfits are
doing with their decision to let a poor mistreated pilot fly?

Let's say I print all this out and write a business letter stating how they are being used
as pawns to insult the whole USA hang gliding community and every other agency
who allows USHPA members to fly. That this simple act of being generous is used
for nefarious purposes intended to hurt good and honest people.

Banning me will not stop any of this. In fact the very comments you are making here
has already provoked others more determined than me to put your crowd back in
their place.

You are forcing, by this post to have the very permission that BK now enjoys for such a
short time revoked! You are abusing a privilege meant for a purpose that you are using
in a negative abusave way, never intended for that purpose. Then you want to broadcast
that you are doing it and make the Mgt of Dockwiler Beach your partner in this…

If I get banned for this, then I have no business ever looking at the OZ Report again.
That is because the OZ Report won't be worth reading by anyone.

Davis is no fan of me, he would probably celebrate if I packed it in and left this playground.
But like it or not, I have a reader base that even though is angry at me half the time
also agrees with me the other half of the time.

Guess what, the politics outside of the OZ Report seems to be far worse than my comments
ever are. It is a sign of times we are in and it is about time we call a spade a spade.
We are all getting to old for this nonsense to keep repeating over and over.

I don't care that BK gets to fly a mangie HG at some beach by special permit! No one in
here or at USHPA cares either. But if your misfit crowd does not reverse this campaign based
on this special permit as a tool to light the fire of chaos, then it's you guys who are gonna
get burned! You will have deserved it when it comes back to you!

FYI
Davis, likes controversy and at least for a time he is not banning anyone including your
2nd string team…

As for me, I don't need to say anymore, what's the point? If more people don't stand up

It's late and I don't have time for a longer answer to Benji's Oz Report tirade. But I'll repeat my last post on the subject -

Ben Reese is obviously too much of a pansy to join the US Hawks and have a sane back and forth conversation with some other (very experienced) pilots.

I, for one, have 42 years of experience flying hang gliders. I could easily pick out 4 other pilots here on the US Hawks who, combined with my years, would total beyond 200 years experience in the sport.

I will add the following brief "comments".

I find myself saddened by reading Ben Reese's comments ... but not in the way you might expect.

As others have rightly pointed out, there's clearly something wrong with Ben Reese. He seems desperate to gain the favor of some of his friends behind the scenes who are using him. I saw the same behavior from him during my expulsion.

The sad part is that he's being used to make statements that his puppeteers wouldn't want pinned to themselves. So they wind Ben up and send him out to make a fool of himself. Ben probably does believe that I committed perjury because that's the lie he's been told. He doesn't have the capacity to investigate it on his own, and that's what makes him so useful to his puppeteers. In a sense, he's also a victim of the rotting fish that USHPA has become.

Rick is right. We do need to start over ... and we are.

Since this topic is in the Oz section of the forum, I think it's important to shine a light on Davis Straub's role in USHPA's slow train wreck. The founders of the United States recognized the value of a free and independent press. The press is needed as a watchdog over those in power. But Davis Straub has used his position as "the press" in hang gliding to play whichever side benefits him. He banned me in the middle of an important election with no justification so he could gain favor with the USHPA Executive Committee. He then allows Ben Reese to make slanderous statements with no consequences because Ben is USHPA's attack dog.

The whole ecosystem is broken and dysfunctional.

At this point, I would advise against answering any of Ben Reese's posts. Just get the information out there so the sane pilots can know what's happening. We are making history in the sport of hang gliding, and that's what needs to be known.

Thanks Bill for spreading the word. And thanks for putting up with so much nonesense to do so.

If I were being paid to pick apart the inaccuracies, misdirection, and, innuendo's that Ben post's I can see that I would become a millionaire.
This due to all the overtime hours required just to cover the tsunami of text that he puts out.
I even thought that it might be easier to highlight only the accurate points he puts out. That too is difficult due to the tidal surge of
barnyard parables and analogies he uses to make things clear and/or a long story short.
If I really cared I would ask for Ben to quote the SOP's, verbatim that the USHPA cited that BK violated time and again for many years.
If on just that one task I could get Ben to devote 100% of his in depth research talents we would never hear from Ben again.

So neither in good faith nor as a good investigator could Ben at the very least do even a copy/paste of the request I made of him for the USHPA's charges of SOP violations against BK.
He didn't have the time to copy/paste the USHPA's specific charges verbatim of SOP violations yet he had oodles of time to make ad hominem attacks against any and all people that don't agree with his point of view. (A point of view that hasn't the time to allow the truth to interfere with.)

I don't have a steel trap memory for SOP's which are based on common sense.
I just have the needed common sense, so if you applied the same effort to looking
them up like you did to pass your high school exams you could find them yourself.

Besides they are written in 8th grade English.

But you are both just lazy and don't care enough to follow them anyway.
So your happy to pretend they don't exist.

What does exist in bucket fulls with real pilots is common sense. People who
have it and apply it (common sense) don't need SOP's. People who really care about
what they do instead of just getting a cheap thrill, don't need SOP's either.

Only the bad boys like you both and others need SOP's to fill in the voids you carved
out in your developing brains with foreign substances your still chasing down daily.

Mostly people and pilots grow up and set good examples for younger and impressionable
pilots to follow.

I am for unanimous expulsions for old dolts that continue to be the trouble makers.
Younger trouble makers get more chances if they vote you out!

It is sort of like a medical exam to maintain private pilot qualification.
Instead of poking and prodding you need to pass a mental health and loyality exam.

Your either all there and all in, or all out!

P.S. I went back and re-read what I wrote here.
I admit there was something I missed since it was so early
this morning when I arrived in Grand Junction, CO 2:00am.
A long lonely drive on US 50 from Carson City, NV.

Chasing Thunder Storms all the way and I mean all the way.
Always just behind them enough to drive on a damp road with
that cool fresh air feeling and watching the storm ahead.
Benefiting from all the chaos ahead but never catching any myself.
And all the way a tailwind pushing me along. Just Beautiful!

Well because it was so late and I was so tired when I posted above,
I missed the laughing which usually accompanies my writing this way.
I am laughing now and it is deserved. Anyone else who feels the
urge to laugh also is just a normal person. Humor is self correcting
and keeps us from going to far.

Laughing at yourself is a sign of maturity, self confidence, social apptitude
and teachability. Laughing at others is actually a sign of solidarity and
that you identify with their situation. No matter what is funny, is funny
and it is even more funny when you do it to yourself!

I am glad this thread is concluded since I need to focus on my own teachability
and let a very concerned seller teach me how to operate my new motor glider
