Bill,
You've hit that one out of the park!!!!!
The Council is off until the new year (nice "work" schedule). But barring any other developments, I'll be giving your speech to kick off 2018.
I have to say that you've really been paying attention all these years. I really appreciate that. Thanks.

Council member Bry,
I live 14 hours away in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I had a friend download a waiver for me so that I will be able to fly at Dockweiler Beach but I also want to fly at Torrey Pines.
The City of San Diego has allowed two organizations, the USHPA and the local concessionaire, to become gatekeepers at Torrey Pines.
Neither of these monopolizing, gatekeepers have been subject to any oversight.
This in spite of a legal settlement by the City of San Diego.
The gatekeepers, in violation of their lease or their own SOP’s, block some citizens with expulsion.
They block all of the flying citizens with a fee for access to this public land which is a City Park and also a nationally recognized flight park by three different Presidents of these United States.
These two gatekeeping, parasitical interlopers have blocked the public’s right to recreate and are selling the right back to us.
Council Member Bry, as the steward in charge of Torrey Pines, how soon will you be able to restore our rights and stop the extortion, intimidation, false arrests, and violence?
Thank You.
(I yield back 30 seconds for your answer.)
