Any controversial issue will be surrounded with swirling clouds of arguments from all sides. Finding the truth requires cutting through the clouds of opinion to get to the facts. That's why I provided the full text of 8 U.S. Code § 1182 (f). I believe (until shown evidence to the contrary) that that portion of the law gives President Trump the authority for his executive order. There may be some fine points that will benefit from further clarification, but I believe the substantive portion of the order is on solid legal ground.

UPDATE: In a unanimous decision, the U..S. Supreme Court has recently allowed President Trump's Executive Order to be implemented. The current Supreme Court is generally cited as being nearly split along political lines (5 to 4), but this ruling was unanimous across all political divisions on the court.

Trump administration tries to circumvent Supreme Court travel ban ruling

On Monday, the Supreme Court lifted parts of the lower court injunctions against President Trump’s travel ban executive order, which suspends entry of citizens of six Muslim-majority nations into the United States, and suspends all refugee admissions for 120 days. But it also ruled that the injunctions hold when it comes to “foreign nationals who have a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”

I recently began hearing an outcry that President Trump was promoting violence against the media through his video post. I did some searching and found this:



I don't know if that's the "official" version, but is that what all the fuss is about?

If so, then the Anti-Trumpers are pretty desperate. I personally thought the video was clever. It was a humorous reminder of the rich (in all senses of the word) life that Donald Trump led before becoming president. It cleverly used the backdrop of a well-known "fake" sport as a play on words with "Fake News" and the "Fraud News Network" logo.

Very well done!!       

P.S. I'm not sure why, but the video appears to be flipped left to right (according to the lettering around the ring). Any ideas?

Flipping (reversing) the video, making a news worthy instructional post, or making a parody are exceptions to the copy right infringement law.
But I got that information off of the internet so it might be untrue.
