Ten years ago today ...

What Davis, Jack, and USHGA do is edit and delete posts, ban authors, and screen material to protect themselves and make idiocy the perpetual norm.

I had started this topic a month earlier:

I am not optimistic that most pilots will ever know what Jack has been doing on hanggliding.org (since Jack doesn't leave a trail and so few pilots read the US Hawks). This is why our sport is stuck in the mud. It's ruled by a combination of USHPA casting secret ballots and Jack Axaopoulos banning people and changing what they've written. Until this is fixed, it will be hard to make the real reforms which are needed in the sport of hang gliding.

It's difficult to imagine how much these practices have harmed the sport of hang gliding over the past 10 years.

Will you look at that?
I've made 3150 posts to US Hawks and not one to the USHPA doppleganger sites.
Must be a reason.
To quote ancient wisdom:

lest they trample them under their feet,

Walk away.

For 10 years, too many have refused to walk away. The result is evident in the sad decline of hang gliding.
