You made a guess about why Davis did lock and move to Off Topic. I bet you could come up with other guesses in a few minutes. There could many a mix of why he did what he did. You offered that Davis could speak for himself even while you put forward one guess. But the guessing may continue even though your one guess is announced. And we await Davis to clarify his reasons. But the guessing game could continue; evidence could be given for guesses or not. Shall we guess some more?

Some more guessing:
1. I guess that he did not want to see the graphics that were being displayed; I guess he has a notion of different art.
2. I guess that he may have wanted to squelch anti-USHPA talk.
3. I guess he may have gotten an email or PM or so that urged him to lock and move.
4. I guess that he had a bad landing recently and just did not want to see those posters be present in the front arena.
5. I guess that Davis got a note from MGF.

Guessing is a tool, but guessing does not prove, even if a guess is correct. Proving a guess is correct is a separate matter.

I guess you could say Ben took over the OZ forum years ago. But that was when he was a u$hPa supporter.
Now that he has seen the light and is speaking out against the u$hPa, he gets moderated.

Davis and Belinda are the biggest HG event organizers in the US.
As far as I know u$hPa is the only source of Event Insurance.

Davis has just completely deleted Swift's account. Who will speak up for Swift?

Davis is now coddling the topics (1, 2, and 3 so far) of how to "save hang gliding" while having just banned the one person (Swift) who came up with the original idea.

But it gets worse ...

Davis has already deleted posts by people who's views differed from what Davis wants to see in these topics. He's also threatened others with banning for even mentioning myself or linking to the U.S. Hawks. What is Davis afraid of?

It doesn't surprise me that Davis would threaten and silence people who might disagree with him. He's just an older and grayer version of Jack Axaopoulos. What does surprise me is that anyone would go along with it.

Does anyone really think that any important discussion on Oz would be allowed to reach any conclusion ... other than what Davis wants?
