I clicked on your name at US HAWKS, you do me a disservice by not seeing all that I wrote on US HAWKS. I introduced myself to HAWKS with a "longwinded" story of MY up bringing into the "piloting" and hang gliding world. I'm still that same individual
Although the politics of "private" business , and of "private piloting", has gotten all skewed and as gotten to be a "bottom line" issue, for some, sad to say.

I am , and have always been, a "very private pilot", and was always taught that there are a couple of times that you want to listen to the pilot. When they say ...."I have an emergency, and....... .brace for impact".
The "public" was never part of my flying, but when I watched my first, and second, and third, and...... .hang gliders fly, we all called out in excitement, because of the sheer "death defining beauty" of it all.
Some people didn't see it as we did and went their own path into the realm of "the liability of flying hang gliders". That was their job though, and I gotta give them that.
I was taught from a very young age, that Respect, was the learned trait, flying was easy.

Fighting big business corruption from an individual free speech aspect is hard , very hard, but , "if three people sing loud, an organization happens, .....
And .....you can get anything you want at "Alice's Restaurant "
