I find it odd that when I click on the URL link
above the imbedded video that the YouTube

George Floyd was murdered. There was no excuse for his death. Derek Chauvin should be punished appropriately.

However, that doesn't make George Floyd a hero, and it doesn't justify violence and looting. Protesting is justified, but going beyond that to harm others is also criminal.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

The organization known as "Black Lives Matter" has been stoking that fire.

That begs the question: Do white lives matter?

David Jebb was the Torrey Pines concessionaire and USHPA's Region 3 Director until I defeated him in the 2008 election (122 to 98). David Jebb was also a former San Diego police officer. In Jebb's own book ("The Thirteenth Time Zone") he wrote:

Benny had no idea what hit him. In a second, I had clapped him in a carotid restraint, the infamous "sleeper hold". Bending him backward against my chest, I had one arm around his neck while the other locked that arm in place, restricting blood flow to the brain. He clawed at me frantically, but I was a master of this technique. My resolve and arm were like iron.

Within seconds, Benny's body began to shiver, then to shake. Finally he slumped, unconscious. When I dropped him, his head bounced off the stage floor."

Jebb's book is stated to be "A novel by DAVID JEBB", and it features a first person account of a San Diego police officer nicknamed "Blue". It's not clear how much is fiction and how much is drawn from his real life as a San Diego police officer. I personally believe that it was written as a product of Jebb's own ego, and that it reflects a glorified version of his own history with the San Diego Police Department.

I've seen no documentation on the details of Jebb's separation from the San Diego Police Department and how he ended up with a free lease to the City of San Diego Torrey Pines Gliderport.
