I do not know if I am on the appropriate page that I should be in in order that I can put up tis post of mine. I do not know if there is an appropriate page? So I do hope that my little Blurb goes over well.

Some of you already know that I pounded March 28th 2010. Well I fully realize that it was proposed from attending Doctors who worked on Me that I would not survive, due to the injuries that I incurred due to the worst pounding that I could imagine. But that was then, and this is now. I really am getting back to feeling normal again, granted My normal is Everyone else's Abby Normal. But it is My normal, I embrace my being Abby Normal, always have, always will.

I have been talking to Bob regarding my flying His Condor down at Dockweiler Beach. Bob, and all of you have no Idea how down rite Great it feels to Me to be able to even talk about Flying again. For there was a time when I could not even speak. So I truly appreciate and embrace it, when I say talk to Bob about flying His Condor down at that Beach site. It gives me so much pleasure to be able to talk "Trash" to Bob regarding how I will be Flying His Condor XC, Trash Talk is so cool.

Hi Chris,

This topic is generally reserved for pilots introducing themselves to the U.S. Hawks. You have been here for a while now, but I think your remarkable recent recovery progress is like a "new you". Your introduction here is just fine.

There are a lot of Abby Normal pilots here on the U.S. Hawks. You're among friends.

Do You guys have no idea just how good it feels for me to sit here and to type a Message where I will talk about the possibility of actually taking flight once again Flying a Gang Glider. Frank you and I have never even met before now. Your kind act of being willing to fly Your Condor, Wow thank you.

MY POST POUND FLYING: I have had 2 flights where I flew a Two seat Grobe Sail Plane with an instructor Pilot in the Back Seat. I had the stick in my right hand, and worked the foot pedals with my feet. I really felt like some sort of Primate-Pilot. Using both my hands, and my feet to control that Aircraft. I guess that for two Flights I was a Monkey Pilot. I have to admit that it was true that while under tow I did cause, or should I say that I did experience some oscillation's you know the action of having say a rolling action where I would apply the opposite aileron. But then I would have held the stick over for too long, then back the other way the Sail-Plane would Roll, on on, and on, it would go. Mike did give me some help by taking over control, and got the oscillation under control. But that moment was the only time that II asked Mike for His help. It was a great experience. I am sure that after I have some more airtime I will get a handle on things. I had a real nice landing. After the landing Mike and I were standing by the Sail-Plane talking, I said to Mike; "Mike get your head up, Be happy, we had a nice tow, a good flight, and I greased the landing. We did not fly XC so what.

You should apply to the FAA for your Primate Pilot's License.

Hang glider pilots make great sailplane pilots. Sailplanes are much better aircraft than hang gliders in almost every aspect (except fun). If you can drive a manual transmission (with manual brakes and manual steering), it's an easy transition to an automatic with power brakes and power steering.

Good job Chris. You represented our sport well.

I really look at Flying a Grobe Sail Plane as a Lateral move in my Flying. I fully realize how My having just two Flights Flying a Grobe Sail-Plane. That this could be looked at by some of You as my stepping down regarding my Flying. For I have Flown and one Day I will Fly my Predator 158 once again. I see my Flying a Sail-Plane as an lateral move, not a step down in my Flying. By the way, I simply love to Fly My Predator!

You Guys do not know, really how could you possibly know how it feels when I grab that stick and work those Pedals with my feet. Just how good I feel. For 11 Years ago my Doctors prognosis regarding how far I would be able to recover was: "He will not regain his mental abilities to be much better than a Potato. And He said: That I would never walk again. I am so grateful that I did not: Live down to My Doctors Prognosis's.

Flying, Flying XC. Unfair advantage Predator

OK this is my second attempt at putting up a Post on this Beautiful August 14th Wednesday. OK here I go. I remember when I had a flight where my Friend Scott. We launched from Wolf's Peak California and while I landed at Gardnerville Nevada. Scot who did not land at Gardnerville, Scott landed short. I do not know where Scott landed that day, just that his flight was a shorter flight than Mine. Now I want to say right now unequivocally that My Friend Scott is a much better XC Pilot than I am. It is just the case that I was flying a better performing Glider than Scotts Laminar MR-700 Topless Glider. My Flight was hardly even what one would consider distance wise a good XC Flight. I only flew 54 Miles. But I had an un-Fair advantage over Scott. Yes I was flying My Predator. The Predator, what a Glider! If I am going to Fly in a speed Gliding Contest. I will be flying my Predator. If I want to fly, to Fly XC. I Fly My Predator.

Once again Scott is a much better XC Pilot than I am. I just want to really empathize that the credit for my being able to have flown farther than Scott was because of my UN-Fair advantage.

That old saying is so true; "YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH SUCCESS" Boy have I had some success while Flying My Predator. Yes John's Glider is truly on great Bird! Thank you John.
