Is there any doubt that Bill is right? Not for me.

People ARE making decisions about what we can see and cannot see. It is happening in the microcosm of hang gliding at sites like hanggliding.org and it's happening on a global scale at sites like YouTube and Google. George Orwell's "1984" didn't predict the Internet, but he very accurately predicted the global erasure and rewriting of history that we see today. Orwell may not have been accurate at predicting technology, but he knew the dark side of mankind ... very well.

It really is hard for me to believe what I am seeing in today's world. I never imagined that so many people would be so blissfully ignorant of the abuses all around them. All that evil needs to thrive is for good people to do nothing. There's a lot of nothing being done right now.
