The book, Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast deals with the concepts expressed in the video in much greater detail without the politics. The mideast problem goes back in time beyond Lawrence of Arabia. It is much more complicated than the presentation in the video.

The book can be obtained at Amazon used for little coin.

Sadly, a 15 minute video labeled "Urgent Message from The Troops" is too much info for too many people.

It takes too much time from living in a dream world of make believe to listen to the urgent warnings of young men and women that have risked their lives fighting for a lie.

The "politics" that so many are programmed to avoid are the reasons so much death and destruction is being carried out in our names, under false pretense.

Greg Palast and others explain it well but we are running out of time at this time of a crossroads of humanity.

We can continue the murder, destruction and enslavement policies of the present status quo, or people can be roused out of their denial and face the situation at hand.

You can choose freedom or you can do nothing and get enslavement.
Its as simple as that.

We ignore the politics at the price of our freedom.
Continue down the same path for one more election cycle and there will be little hope of recovery.
People think it is ugly now but have little concept of how ugly it is going to get.

Governments ALWAYS trend to tyranny. ALWAYS. And as it happens it is not a linear progression.
In the end it grows exponentially.

Look around you today.
Are you starting to get it?

Tyranny always begins as little inconveniences, for our benefit, of course.
Take your shoes off.. take your belt off..
Pretty soon they are sticking their hands down the pants of your children and we meekly acquiesce.

They herd us like cattle through human microwaves... for a false sense of security and at their level, to train us into submission.

This is the be beginning of the end.
You have a president that says he can arrest and detain indefinately anyone in the world.
And kill them.. without a trial.. without a trace..

We are entering the end game. We have been poisoned and programmed to accept it.

Ron Paul, can't fix everything but my God, people, look at what your other options are.
There is so little you have to do to start reversing our downward spiral!

Stand up for peace instead of endless wars and poverty.
Register republican for the primaries and vote Ron Paul, even you still believe Obama is going to keep his promise to end the wars. You can always change back to democrat but Ron Paul, will actually end the wars.

Stop listening to the lying military industrial media and know nothing parrotting whores like Davis Straub.
Obama lied to you because he is not his own man.
He has been bought and paid for just like EVERY other hack that is served up on a silver platter to the masses by the death and destruction media.

Endless wars will not make us free.
It is just the opposite.

People, please listen to what the troops are saying.
They have the perspective and are trying to warn you.

Ron Paul: Defense Bill Establishes Martial Law In America

Congressman condemns “bold, arrogant, dangerous” move to intern Americans without trial

Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Top tier presidential candidate Ron Paul has decried the ‘indefinite detention’ provision of the National Defense Authorization Act, warning that it represents an arrogant, bold and dangerous attempt to establish martial law in America.

Speaking with the Alex Jones Show today, Congressman Paul went on the offensive against the bill, which is set to be signed into law by President Obama later this week.

Section 1031 of the NDAA bill, which itself defines the entirety of the United States as a “battlefield,” allows American citizens to be snatched from the streets, carted off to a foreign detention camp and held indefinitely without trial. The bill states that “any person who has committed a belligerent act” faces indefinite detention, but no trial or evidence has to be presented, the White House merely needs to make the accusation.

Paul said he saw significance in “the announcement and the arrogance of it all,” making reference to the Obama administration’s claim that it can now assassinate American citizens anywhere in the world and noting that the passage of the NDAA bill is an effort to codify the policy into law.

“This is a giant step – this should be the biggest news going right now – literally legalizing martial law,” said Paul, noting that the subject did not come up at all in any of the Republican debates.

The Congressman also decried the “arrogance” of an attempt to push through via a voice vote an amendment that would have still authorized indefinite detention even if a detainee was found innocent after a trial. The amendment was narrowly defeated by his son, Senator Rand Paul.

“This is big,” emphasized Paul, adding “This step where they can literally arrest American citizens and put them away without trial….is arrogant and bold and dangerous.”

Despite speculation that the Obama administration would veto the bill, it emerged yesterday that it was the White House itself which worked to remove language from the bill that would have protected American citizens from indefinite detention under Section 1031.

The administration has been working with lawmakers to alter a separate provision, Section 1032, which pertains to the military being required to take custody of individuals.

With the administration’s concerns over Section 1032 now largely resolved, a revised and final version of the bill could be signed into law before the end of the week.

•“The conferees said they plan to bring the bill to the House floor for a vote as soon as Wednesday afternoon and to the Senate soon thereafter,” reports Politico.

Despite the revisions, the bill still contains language that allows Americans to be detained without trial at a detention center anywhere in the world.

Republican Congressman Justin Amash has again warned that lawmakers are attempting to mislead the American people by claiming U.S. citizens are exempt from the most dangerous provisions of the bill.

“Pres. Obama and many Members of Congress believe the President ALREADY has the authority the bill grants him. Legally, of course, he does not. This language was inserted to keep proponents and opponents of the bill appeased, while permitting the President to assert that the improper power he has claimed all along is now in statute,” writes Amash.

“They will say that American citizens are specifically exempted under the following language in Sec. 1032: “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States. Don’t be fooled. All this says is that the President is not REQUIRED to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial. It still PERMITS him to do so,” warns the Congressman.

Amash is encouraging Americans to contact their representatives and sign a petition expressing their opposition to the NDAA bill, calling it “one of the most anti-liberty pieces of legislation of our lifetime.”

Hi Warren,

I wish our international problems were as simple as "blowback", but I'm afraid it is more complicated than that. History shows that isolationism doesn't work because people will come and take what you have either on a local level or an international level. That's the unfortunate nature of man, and it predates Bush, Reagan, Eisenhower, and even Washington. The Crusades were a response ("blowback"?) to the Islamic invasions of Spain and France. War and conquest are deep in our roots and bullies will come to take your lunch money whether you've taken theirs or not.

I'm not really too thrilled with any of the current GOP crop. But I would definitely support Ron Paul over the incumbent.

That's just my opinion though, and I respect and appreciate your time to bring up the discussion.

Non interventionism is not isolationism.
And blowback is just a symptom of the larger disease, interventionism/nation building.

National Defense

PROVEN LEADERSHIP
“Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country.” – Ronald Reagan

A PRO-AMERICA FOREIGN POLICY

As an Air Force veteran, Ron Paul believes national defense is the single most important responsibility the Constitution entrusts to the federal government.

In Congress, Ron Paul voted to authorize military force to hunt down Osama bin Laden and authored legislation to specifically target terrorist leaders and bring them to justice.

Today, however, hundreds of thousands of our fighting men and women have been stretched thin all across the globe in over 135 countries – often without a clear mission, any sense of what defines victory, or the knowledge of when they’ll be permanently reunited with their families.

Acting as the world’s policeman and nation-building weakens our country, puts our troops in harm’s way, and sends precious resources to other nations in the midst of an historic economic crisis.

Taxpayers are forced to spend billions of dollars each year to protect the borders of other countries, while Washington refuses to deal with our own border security needs.

Congress has been rendered virtually irrelevant in foreign policy decisions and regularly cedes authority to an executive branch that refuses to be held accountable for its actions.

Far from defeating the enemy, our current policies provide incentive for more to take up arms against us.

That’s why, as Commander-in-Chief, Dr. Paul will lead the fight to:

* Make securing our borders the top national security priority.

* Avoid long and expensive land wars that bankrupt our country by using constitutional means to capture or kill terrorist leaders who helped attack the U.S. and continue to plot further attacks.

* Guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act.

* End the nation-building that is draining troop morale, increasing our debt, and sacrificing lives with no end in sight.

* Follow the Constitution by asking Congress to declare war before one is waged.

* Only send our military into conflict with a clear mission and all the tools they need to complete the job – and then bring them home.

* Ensure our veterans receive the care, benefits, and honors they have earned when they return.

* Revitalize the military for the 21st century by eliminating waste in a trillion-dollar military budget.

* Prevent the TSA from forcing Americans to either be groped or ogled just to travel on an airplane and ultimately abolish the unconstitutional agency.

* Stop taking money from the middle class and the poor to give to rich dictators through foreign aid.

As President, Ron Paul’s national defense policy will ensure that the greatest nation in human history is strong, secure, and respected.

Some history where we started to loose democracy.

The status quo flow of dough will remain the same no mater which candidate gets elected.

If Ron Paul gets in and doesn’t play ball he will get the JFK treatment.

If you really want any hope for doing something for this country it will cost you billions and billions of dollars and the shedding of much blood. I haven’t the money nor the heart for it. I’m retired and nothing can be accomplished in the time I have left.

I can go flying and that will have to be enough. :)
