BHP built seven or eight hang gliders. He foot-launched his hang gliders. He instructed and let some friends fly some of his hang gliders. He used the public-domain arts found in the NASA/Ryan/Rogallo exposed kite hang glider wings. BHP explored several control positions; he reached the A-frame in several manner; and he understood some of the prior arts about pilot positions. He was a quick builder-tester. He moved soon thereafter to a project that would power a four-boom-flex-wing. His sharing with Miller had significance that would play a part role that would help reach hang gliding into 23 nations with the four-boom NASA-Ryan-Rogallo taught simple arrow flex-wing kite. He received an F.A.A. registration N number for his powered kite-glider using such flex-wing base.
