Just a couple questions and an observation.
Did you land alphabetically? :geek:
Would shaving your legs create less drag? :srofl:

I see now that you don’t just hold the right brake in your left hand only to make it easier to reclaim it again but that you can actually steer with both brakes in one hand.

Here's a little bit of what turned out to be a really nice Day for PG.
We had 6 flights and more than 8 hrs of airtime in total.

Hope to see everybody at the gathering on Columbus Day in two weeks.

Jan,
I’ve noticed that my GoPro3 (White) will not loose time and date settings while changing out batteries if the used battery in the camera is not dead. There seems to be a capacitor that will hold enough of a charge for that short span of time that it takes to swap out batteries. I haven’t yet figured out just how long the time and date settings will be retained without a battery in the camera.

One thing that I think I’m onto is that a battery left in the camera will drain out in a very short time. Maybe two days.

I just put a battery in the camera that two weeks ago I had removed from the camera after a complete charging. It was still showing full charge.

Leaving the battery in the camera seems to drain the charge down in two days but will hold for two weeks out of the camera.

How about we two keep our attention on my hypothesis of how to conserve a charge and experiment with this idea.

It would be interesting to find out just how long the time and date settings will be retained with the battery removed.

See if your out of camera batteries hold charges longer than in camera batteries.

My WiFi feature is not on so that isn’t draining my battery.

I am getting very suspicious that the time and date feature is pulling heavily on the battery. I find that hard to believe but what else could be draining the charge so fast?

Tested both batteries and after four days still have a full charge stored outside of the GoPro.
