Tomorrow marks the 75th anniversary of the D day invasion to liberate France from the German occupation and push toward the ending of WWII.

Tomorrow evening, as I watch the sun set behind the Tierra Blanca Mountains, I will follow my tradition of playing Taps on one of my elderberry flutes. This I do in honor and remembrance of those thousands of men who saw the first light of day, on that fateful day 75 years ago, and did not live to see the sun set. May their spirit and honor live forever in our hearts.
