Chapter Support

Officers of USHPA-affiliated chapters are now required to be USHPA members.

So now all the helpful wives of HG pilots that act as Chapter secretary or treasurer or reporter, or historian,.......................
have to pay a full membership just to help out the chapter  :problem: :x

USHPA doesn't like independent clubs like the SWTHG, or the Tooele Hawks, or the Torrey Hawks. So they're doing whatever they can to make it more and more difficult for those clubs to remain USHPA chapters.

If you need someone with a current USHPA number to fill any of your officer seats, please let me know. :)

As for risk mitigation will we soon be covering Speed Gliders (PG)?
Would our premiums go up with the inclusion of this kind of activity?

Bill,

I think we already cover speed wing PG flying.

Care to guess why the stats are suddenly off the chart for power line strikes?

"power line strikes?"
I just cringed when I read that.

It's still difficult to tell what's goin' on, but some things are obvious.

Now, as a user on the new forum?, I can no longer view "members list", etc. Also,
all the user options like "posts since last visit." have been removed.

Before the changes, an interesting stat I was looking at, the "time on forum".
As I recall, <10 users were recorded. averaging 15min each. :srofl:

I had totaled 2.5hr loading Tim's videos (almost dial-up) and pokeing around the forum.
Seems like me and Martin Palmaz were the primary users. He had ~3hr. :srofl:

The FAQ topics that were in the original forum index, like "how do I load video", etc, have no replies. :|

Bad thing is, there have been no replies to the questions presented by the few users of this "e-learning" forum.

Also, there is a "store" section to shop in??????

A while back, risking being labeled a conspiracy theorist, I commented to BobK, that I suspected the actual Vizigy e-learning forum was "constructed/owned" by someone in the office. Someone trying to make a $$buck$$ off USHPA/ US members, in our moment of desperation.

Today five short, ~1.5min, videos were posted by Ushpa. Other than one brief/meaningless post by M Forbes, that's the first activity from USHPA since Martin created accounts for all the forum users, April, 22.
There's still about 1% of all the members that have ever activated the accounts that were set up by Martin.

1. Introduction
2. What is risk management
3. Why manage risks
4. risk identification
5. risk assessment
6. risk prioritization

So today I did a simple yahoo search for "Visigy".What do you know, here's what I found. :shifty: :(
http://vizigy.com/content/vizigy-team
Tim Herr
Tim is a founder of Vizigy and leads the technology design and development efforts, and is responsible for licensing programs. Tim is a practicing attorney specializing in Internet business, technology and media licensing. In addition, he has been a software developer for many years. He was founder and chief technology officer for The Daily Case Report, a video delivery company for legal education.

The videos are difficult to load and view. It's really overly complicated, hardly anyone cares about activating their account, and WE probably paid Tim Herr $$ for no good reason, IMO.

WOW!!!

That's some good detective work Sam!!! I've often wondered how many of USHPA's bad decisions came from Tim Herr.

Thanks for getting to the source of this next fiasco!!
