Friends of Dockweiler Gliding Society, check it out!

A "heads up" to those who have not been aware of the FDGS happenings at SoCal's most famous historical hang gliding site. Always check out our forum at the bottom of the US Hawks chapter list. We may be last in the list, but were not least (don't count the hill height in that statement).

The latest news is an informal gathering at Dockweiler on July 11th in honor of two Hang gliding and Dockweiler gliding pioneers, Jim Hobson and Richard Miller.

Mike Meier, of Wills Wing fame, says he may be able to attend with a Wills Alpha 210 for demo flights :!: That's if he can get the glider by then, so right now it's "maybe". 8-)
