Hello All,
This last Friday I picked up a (new to me) 2003 WW Talon 140. It's in great shape and was previously owned by a good friend - who I hadn't seen for many years.
I was hoping to fly it for the first time today, but I needed to slap together a good HG rack for my vehicle. Well, the slapping took longer than I figured mainly due to it raining lightly here until 3 pm, then the sun only starting to come out around 4 pm.
Well the delays dampened my enthusiasm about flying but I was able to visit the local LZ and put up a fresh wind indicator and take down some small saplings that could interfere with landing/ground handling. I also wanted to talk with the launch land owner to get the latest info on launch site details. However, it was Sunday and about 6 pm when that might have happened. So, I figured it would be best to instead make contact on a week day at an earlier time. Result - No flying today. But another good day will come along soon!
Below is a picture of the glider set up, yesterday, in my crowded back yard. I understand it has 2 points of glide better than my Fusion SP so I can't wait to get it in the air. Will it ever come down ? ! ? ! ?
