In UK, the SkyWings magazine noted the gathering

USHPA Magazine has about a 3 month lead time. So if they actually did publish something about the gathering ... we won't know about it for some time yet.

That's another reason to have an on-line magazine that's more up to date. Come to think of it, since USHPA does publish it on the web, why don't they make it available as soon as it goes to press rather than wait for the 3 month publishing lag? Isn't the purpose to disseminate information as quickly as possible? Why the wait? Also, why do they have it locked through issuu rather than allowing it to be downloaded and redistributed?

It's clear that USHPA's main interest is bringing in money rather than bringing people into the sport.

This year's (2020) Otto celebration would have been the 49th anniversary of the original in 1971. As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic made any celebration difficult to plan.

Next year (2021) will be the 50th anniversary, and it might be good to start planning. Here's the most complete photo I found from the 40th celebration (thanks Michael):
