Well I thought that I would Put this little write up on the Posting that I titled "Mentally Flying" . Being that at the present time I am not actually flying. So why not do some thinking about Flying. Yes there was a Time after My accident where I did not think very well. My cognitive powers where in shambles. In fact now that each Day I regain more and more of My . My prior to pounding, my Brains ability to function is a great positive feeling that none of you would be able to relate to. Because I doubt any of You have had a similar experience to what I went through eleven years six months ago.

I have had talks with my flying friends about that March Day where My life took a drastic change in direction. Shannon Raby said to Me how blown away that he was when He heard that I had crashed. Shannon told Me " You where so good, your landings were always spot on" John said to Me you were an outstanding Pilot. What went wrong? I doubt that I will ever know. I will tell You Guys one thing though; I will have much more respect for the power of Rotor as it relates how My Predator traverses' through the Air.

Well I believe that I have babbled enough here. I hope to meet each and every one of You. I hope to Fly with You guys someday.

So as stay on subject. these are some thoughts, thoughts about what else? Why I think about flying almost constantly. I am unable to Fly currently. But this will change. Yes, I will fly again. I will return to My home, My true home which is up there in the Sky. I think of Flights that I hope to accomplish. I hope to one day head up to Wolf's Peak launch where I will inside my Wing have bedding with which I will be able to spend the night. I also will carry enough food for my dinner and my dinner. Also I will pack the next morning's' breakfast. Then I will launch. I then will either head north, or I will head South along the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. At Present I do not weather I will head North, or if I will head South. Yes this would be a great little; "Out and Return" I do not know how many Miles that I will travel. But for those of You who have never flown up in the Sierra's. the Sierra's are very productive regarding thermals. In fact the Sierra's are so productive regarding therals. A 100 Mile Flight seems almost like a sled ride.

You will fly again Chris, but I think that you absolutely must get your legs in the best shape that they've ever been.
Concentrate on, "Heel To Toe", fast walking and running, and "Bottom to Top, Top to Bottom Breathing" (push out all the air, then push again, down to the bottom) and it will get your legs and lungs in shape, and you'll be "fit for flying" in no time. Another thing is, try to get up at the same time every morning no matter what time you go to bed at.
Remember, like in golf, it's not, "practice makes perfect", but it's "Perfect Practice " that counts.
I played much better golf when I realized that all I had to do was, "let the ball get in the way of my perfect swing". ha. Having lost my right inner ear in the accident, keeps me from taking a full swing at the ball, but I can still 'chip' and putt the daylights out of it. A 7 iron makes a great walking stick for me, and can keep me, "socially distant".

Fit to fly your fingers up and down your control bar AND the neck of your guitar

Mn I tell You I am a Pathetic Pilot. Yesterday, I had to enlist My Sisters help in Breaking down My Predator. I tell You all that My Left Arm is pretty much useless. Since I Dislocated My shoulder a week ago, can You say Pain?

Worse than that I did not get the Measurements of the Predator that Bob asked Me to get. I have devolved into a Slacker-0Bum!

"Mentally Flying"

Last night I had a very vivid dream that I was over at Fort Funston on launch ready to launch. Bt that old Good Judgement aspect of Me raised it's ugly Head. It was so ;ite that I turned My Predator around and bagged any thought of My Flying. Hell even in My dreams I can not get back into the Air.

Did you soar to cloud base on your first solo flight? Rome wasn't built in a day. There will be time to set it up again and again. Here's a goal for you - set up and break down your Predator at least once a week ... and maybe once every day!

Good judgement requires backing down sometimes. It's good that you know that - even in your sleep!

Good Judgement, having Good Judgement is a Bad thing regarding having Bold Flying experiences.

Insanity is having the flat out Hottest, Baddest King-Posted Hang-Glider that there is. Ye4t I am not able to fly My Predator.

Also insanity is building My Plymouth Road-Runner to be able to compete up in Nevada in the Silver State road race. Where in order to be competitive one must be able to run at speeds in excess of Two Hundred Miles an Hour. Yet My drivers License since My being in a Comma, in a Coma for three Months Muy Doctors sent a Form to the DMV. the DMV resented My Driving privileges.

Yes Chris, but your Predator is a material thing, not to be confused with all your 'other' abilities outside of the 'flying' world.
'Tuning' your guitar and playing it, keeps you grounded in the universe of sound, your fingers may have not been dislocated, so keep 'flying' them up and down your guitar (acoustic), and the pain you feel will subside.
Once you become a 'pilot' at any age, you are in tune with the air, and yourself, whether you fly or not.
You say that you are a "slacker-Obum", but that only pertains to your Predator, there is so much more.
Staying in "your" tune, (the search for perfection, which is a 'fleeting' drug), keeps the brain in a happy place, and keeps the 'out of tune' people , (which there are many) in their chosen, unhappy, 'out of tune' place.
Pay attention to your left arm, and slowly recover it, and it will make new pathways to your fingers. and pay attention to your sister too.
Maybe make a music video and post it on, "Hawks and Larks" and I'll see it.
I play "WGT, (World Golf Tour), by Top Golf" on my Kindle, and it keeps my golf brain in the game, even though my golfing body is somewhat unstable since the accident.
From, longwinded.

Well, it really does appear that I am intent on injuring Myself. Dislocating My shoulder last week sucked-sucks. Can You say Pain? Playing Guitar; I was playing better than I ever have. I actually had fairly good movement up and Down the Guitar Neck. But since I dislocated My shoulder last weeek. For Me it is another Major set-back. But as I did after My Brutal Pound Eleven and a Half Years ago. I will recover. I was talking to a Pilot Friend of Mine; Scott Hueber regarding flights that I want to accomplish when I once again am Flying My beloved Predator. I was saying How I wanted to Launch from the Wolf's Peak Launch. Then I will fly either North or south along the sierra Nevada mountain range. Then I w3ill land upon the mountain range somewhere. Then I will spend the night dounga little: "Sky Camping". he Next Morning I will eat whatever Food I brought with Me for My Breakfast. I will set-up my Predator, and then fly back to where I started the adventure from.

You know just sitting here typing this message about how I want to continue to undergo unique Flying experiences. Hewck, doesn't everybody?

I havea favor to ask. Would some one please forward this Message to John for Me? For I am not currently able to send an EMail.

Thanks Chris McKeon 925-497-1059
