" MY LATEST FLYING ADVENTURE IDEA"

I sit here, and I think about fly . Yes I am a {HEAD CASE} FOR I love to Fly. I have been thinking about not one Flight, but two Flights. I think, I dream that some time when I am once again Flying. I dream of loading My Predator onto My Truck. Also I will take enough Food so that I will be able to eat before I fly the second Day of My 100 or 200 mile out and return flying endeavor . I want to Drive up the Wolf's Peak Launch which is adjestant to Sonora Pass California. I will launch, then Fly either North or South along the Sierra California Nevada mountain Range. I will then then land somewhere up on the Mountain Range, oh say about 100 or 200 Miles either a Southern Flight, or a Northern route . I will then get myself situated with the Lightweight sleeping Bag. I will fix Myself some food to eat. I will spend the night up on the Sierra California Nevada Mountain Range. The following morning I will pack up My Gear. I will set up My Predator thenI will Launch and Fly back to Wolfs Peak. Where I will land, load the Glider onto My Truck and go Home.

I really have no Business thinking about Flying again. Grantep it took oh about 29 Years to happen. But I pounded 11 Years ago. But oh what a crash I did. The mere fact that I did indeed did pound. That means that I could Pound again. Now I might be full on crazy but I am so looking forward when I wiull be hooked into My Glider. I wil have a decent wind in My Face. I will while holding onto the Down Tubes. I will Lift the Glider. Pointing the Glider into the wind while playing with the angle of attack. I will get the angle of attack so as to have only a little of tugging is upon my harness straps. I will then look around and call Clear then I will stride off into the Air. Yea no Fuss no Muss.

Then I will be Home again for the first time in over a Decade. Yea Baby!

And Rick wrote it so well, (maybe also with you in mind, Chris, jmo)

I think that along with good *HangGliding* ground schools, this should be in the foreword of the training manual. JMO

That's very good but I'll bring it up to date now by adding: You wait until the paraglider traffic opens up a space for your launch and flight. :(

Very good Frank. Now let me bring it up to date at Dockweiler ...

You wait until Joe and Frank join you at the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors.

Then you can fly free!!!      :clap: :thumbup: :wave:

By the way, thanks for your post Craig. That's the first time I've read Rick's description. It makes me want to pack up my glider and head back to Point of the Mountain!!

I suspect that thinking about flying again is your lifeblood. Just start slow ... at Dockweiler. :thumbup:

Well yes maybe My First Flight will begin, Mt flight will initiate at Dockweiler Beach. But who knows where My Flight will end. For I was the Pilot up on the McClure Launch who had a Rookie Pilot behind \Him. We were each waiting our turn to launch. Well one of the pp on Launch asked the Rookie; "What will you go?? What direction will you go? The Rookie said; "I believe that I will just follow Chris". Then the other Pilot said to the Rookie Pilot; "No don't do that.! Chris will head out XC before He is above launch!"

"LATERAL MOVES"

Flying for Me has always been an adventure. My Predator allowed Me to undergo fantastic journeys, Adventures. Yet there are more Flights to be had, journeys that will be Made. Adventures Yes, yes adventures, Grand adventures. What I just wrote just might give You an idea of where My head is at, My spirit regarding My thoughts and feelings regarding Flight. I will probably for my next Flight. I will most likely Fly a Sail-Plane this will be a lateral move.

My next flight in a sail-Plane. This Flight will be my third Flight in a Sail-Plane, will be My third flight where I will be Flying Primate Style, as in you need to use both Your Hands-stick, and Your Feet Pedals to control the Air-Craft. I want everyone to know that I do not feel as if I am [STEPPING DOWN] regarding My Flying a Sail-Plane and not My Predator. For I will be Pilot in command. It would be awesome to Fly XC on My third Sail-Plane flight.

OFF TOPIC;
