I had this idea Joe, to go along with the 5' packed movement, which has gained 135,000 views in 7 years on US Hawks

It's a portable, wind powered training device and "video machine",

where the 5' packed movement, and HG clubs in general, could also become an ongoing video platform (the LLC or a blog) on to itself.
There is so much data scattered around.

Sky divers have a vertical wind machine, Hang Gliders need a horizontal one.

This video machine could also be set up on windy days, without the need for blowers, and as a side light,
interview people who are interested in the whole PG, HG thing, and which wing to choose to put your life under.

There was a time when John Heiney wanted to build a HG wind simulator with video.
He did do "Off and ON", which is one of the best HG training videos, and his music choices are masterful.
He said that if he built one, "they would come", but no time or money.

people will ask, "what is this hang glider for"?
you can say, "come on, strap in and we'll make a cool video together, and who knows.

As a commuity we may delve into Craig's idea, participate in developing the concept .... and solve its challenges.

Wind fences form an industrialized product to reduce damage or dust or disturbance. However, for our purpose, we might use two wind fences to develop a deliberate venturi channel. Posts and plastic film? Funneling the wind ... Wind concentrating .... Wind-accelerating ducts ...

Place HG trainer where wind is increased by the venturi fencing.

Thanks Joe,
When I saw the pictures of smiles on the faces of the people holding Little Hawk, I realized that these same smiles could be videoed of them actually flying a Hang Glider.(just not X-country).
The John Heiney video, "Off and On" could be a tethered glider with a volunteer pilot strapped in, learning how this thing flies and getting a music video to boot. While the mobile trailers are being built, ha. the video part of the machine and a Hang Glider could be set up on a windy day and it would be the same affect as the blowers. Is it safe? well just ask the instructors holding on to the tethers. How high do you want to go?
That's where the HG clubs could come in and do these windy day set ups,
and people would love to "go for a ride". especially if they could get their pretty faces on a video. ha. Extra money to be made in the name of Hang Gliding, and who knows they might pick one up someday and run down the hill with it.
As a little dig, you could set up next to Torrey Glider Port and give free rides, and if they gave you grief, film the s**t out of it with the video machine and make a docudrama.
