I'll answer it this way:Bob, As a Master Plumber for 40 years, I had ONE job, and that was to knock on peoples doors, sometimes in raging blizzards, and say,

You are an excellent teacher, and I applied what you taught me to being a US Hawk. Then I stepped into the political ring and thought that I could help you and Ernie's quest at the glider port, but I soon realized that I was way out of my league dealing with two people, whom I didn't know, who say they used to be friends, but were now at each others throats, both blaming me for their misfortunes. Ernie posted, "Fu** You Craig, you're an As*****, and You posted, "You are USHPA, CIA and a serpent", and, "Why don't you show up and make your speech that we've edited for you"?
Being a Vietnam Combat Veteran I have learned, not here apparently, to deal with tough situations where the only thing that made a difference, was, the person on my right, and the person on my left, and "nothing else mattered".
I love you both and I'll keep on posting with my own "voice", here on US Hawks,
and we all do stuff "behind the scenes", so?

I know some of your private email messages to Ernie because Ernie sometimes adds my address to a message history that started out as a private conversation between the two of you. So I can simply read what you had sent to him behind my back. That's one obvious way for me to know. For example, here's something that you recently wrote to Ernie according to his forwarded message:

I've gotten pretty good at writing and finding good writing by others, check out my last two posts on Eagle. Here is a twist Ernie, send me good stuff and I'll post it for you in my name and maybe he'll ban me too, that could be the best thing to happen to me in a long time, ha. because he just wants power.
Do you deny or challenge that?
What I've seen so far (which I suspect is just the tip of the iceberg) is so disgusting and manipulative, that I really don't want anything to do with you Craig. In fact, I'd like to ask you to stop posting on U.S. Hawks. That's not an order or an official action or ban because that would require a vote of the Board. It is, however, my personal request as someone who has dedicated 15 years to trying to make the U.S. Hawks a place where people can communicate openly and honestly. Your back-door dishonest maniupulation of Ernie (telling him, for instance, not to even communicate with me) is so vile, abusive, and destructive, that it turns my stomach. It is especially disgusting after you just reminded me (above) of all the time I've spent trying to help you be a good effective citizen of this forum and of this organization.

To be honest, at this point, I don't care what a great plumber you were or what a great husband and father you were or anything else about you. First, I don't care because your dishonesty has caused me to doubt the truth of everything you've ever said to me or ever posted on this site. Second, I don't care because this was not a single "Oops, I made a mistake" issue. You intentionally lied to Ernie about me behind my back with the clear purpose of dividing our efforts. You haven't denied that, have you? You just posted (less than 26 hours ago) a quote by Steve Rohrbaugh who has been a long-time apologist for the abuses at Torrey. You posted his criticism of me out of context and as if it was some kind of objective third-party assessment when you surely knew from the surrounding context on paraglidingforum.com that it was not. That was intentionally dishonest and manipulative.
And these are just the things that I KNOW for a fact. How deep is the poison that I don't know yet?

That's another lie that we were "at each others throats". Ernie does have considerable hostility toward me (due in unknown amounts to your own back-door manipulation). But I don't have the same hostility toward Ernie, and you should know that after all of our discussions. Yet you say that we are "at each others throats". That's a clear lie. I have great sympathy for the things that Ernie has suffered. I have suffered some of those same things myself. But I can see that Ernie's attacks are harming our ability to accomplish our goals of reform - or to even be taken seriously. That's why I asked for your help to possibly help us overcome that hostility. But you were doing just the opposite. You tried every trick you could imagine (class warfare, everybody hates Bob, don't communicate with him) to isolate Ernie and inflame his hostility. And yet you post here, now, as if you were somehow trying to help us? That's such a lie, that it turns my stomach (again).

You seem to bristle at me suggesting that you might be working for USHPA or possibly some covert governmental agency. To that, I say: actions speak louder than words. Your undenied behind-the-scenes manipulation of Ernie to attack both the Torrey Hawks and the U.S. Hawks is 100% consistent with the motives of USHPA. If you haven't been working for them so far, you should send them a bill for the services you've already rendered. Similarly, your over-the-top efforts (demands) to suppress any mention of the paragliders used in the October 7, 2023 attacks seems highly suspicious. If it's true that the CIA or DEA or Homeland Security or any other agency is using paragliders (powered or otherwise) for covert operations (foreign or domestic), then they would certainly want to keep people (like Ernie and I) from speaking up about it. That was EXACTLY what you tried to do this past October 7, 2025. That is not conclusive proof. But you have offered no response other than that such a speech would somehow "offend" Erika Kirk who I had already honored in my own City Council speech over a month ago (and with my attendance at Charlie Kirk's memorial service). You may indeed be a Telluride plumber as you say, but your own recently discovered dishonesty has raised legitimate concerns about everything you've ever said or posted.
At this time, I would personally like you to just go away. If you really want to help the situation at Torrey, then don't tell me about it. Just do it. You don't have to post anything to the U.S. Hawks. Just start speaking at the City Council. Start posting on hanggliding.org or the Oz Forum or paraglidingforum.com. Start calling in to the La Jolla Town Council or the La Jolla Shores Association. You don't need my permission or approval to do any of those things. Do them because you want a just and fair outcome for the sport of hang gliding. Do them because you're sincere about trying to help Ernie and I fix the problems that you claim you'd like to see fixed. Don't tell me about it. Don't post about it. Just do it. Whether I ever forgive you (or not) is irrelevant. You can be part of the solution regardless of what I ever think of you. Support what's right regardless of who else supports it. Don't just tell us how you're going to act. Show us. If you do that, you will at least regain my respect if not my trust.
Until then, as I said, I would prefer that you stop posting here altogether. Thank you.
