Then there is this guy

Don't have pictures, but my friend said that Eiper actually strapped a chainsaw engine, with a jury rigged propeller, to his back, and the "ultralight" was born. Torrance Beach cliffs were the Perfect Storm, and something to do with the "on shore" winds.

Fantastic Frank, quite possibly, although I think he was still flying with his other "banned" of brothers,
as depicted in this picture. They couldn't put all of them in jail.

Enjoyed this article. I side with the mystical virgin-birth theory, a-la Richard Miller and his pendulum fueled meditations. Others, perhaps down under, may argue about who first invented the triangle.

No. It was much worse.
He was banned and expelled for daring to dress up like a Hawk!!      :srofl:

AND,
daring to use a flexible wing with a control bar, as opposed to breaks on a parachute, they're just jealous.

Hmm. Control, Breaks, easy choice.

I think a HG pilot and his club could put together a great video by dressing up like this Sumerian "Hawk", painting the wings on his glider and launching with a live feed to the ground, or would that be appropriation? ha.
