I saw your quote on hanggliding.org and referenced it on US Hawks:

I'll tell you one thing that we can do right away - but isn't being done. How about if we created an actual voting record of our Directors? You suggest "holding their feet to the fire", but how can we do that if we don't even know how they're voting? Which feet need a little warming?

I'd appreciate your response on the US Hawks forum, but if you just want to reply by email, I'll be happy to post it there for you.

Thanks,

After a couple weeks of silence in the hanggliding.org basement, the topic titled "Ratings Revocation" finally saw some recent activity:

Someone named "liftlover" posted:

liftlover wrote:Has anybody else noticed mike's jury is made up of Pat Denavin's Friends ? He should be judged by people not associated with mission soaring center. This has become a personal vendetta for dave wills, people reporting directly to him from ed levin park anytime mike shows up.

Frank Peel replied:

FPeel wrote:While in agreement that those sitting in judgment should be as impartial a group as is possible, I have serious doubts about Dave Wills having a personal vendetta against anyone. The assertion simply doesn't jive with my knowledge of and experiences with the man.

But like I said, we're in agreement that the participants are maybe just a tad too closely aligned with the greatest recipient of Mike's demise. There may not be a smoking gun, I sure don't have one, but the appearance of impropriety is there.

Of course, that sort of thing has never changed anything before, so why would it now? That's just business as usual in the South Bay.

I suspect that Frank either doesn't know Dave Wills very well ... or possibly knows him too well. If anyone can contact Frank Peel via hanggliding.org (or any other way), please let him know about the US Hawks. I'd really like to contact him somehow. Thanks.
