OPTIMAL WEIGHT FOR A 158.

So Weights and Measures this Morning. Here I am a Six Foot Three and Three Quarter inch tall Predator Ine 58 pilot. Heck i did not grow to an even 6'4" or taller like My Dad. OK I weighed just under Three Hundred Pounds the Day that I did one heck of a Pound. Well I call the Diet that I went on, THE POUND DIET. Heck I lost a Hundred Pounds. Laying in that Hospital Bed, spending Three Months in a Coma. The weight simply dripped off my Body. But there is a caveat though to the "POUND DIET" One Must survive the Diet. For Phase One of THE POUND DIET is to due to as in My case, slam Yourself into Terra Firma so hard that You do things like as was the case with Me: I shattered My left Eye Socket. I sheared Brain Axons. Bottom I line I hit he Ground too darn Hard! But the benefit of having going on THE POUND DIET was that weight simply dripped off My Body to the Tune of a Hundred Pounds.

So I now find Myself struggling to loosea Mere 9 More Kilo's. But it has gotten hard for Me to loose this Weight. Sure I could go and Fly My Predator. Then I could simply Pound Myself in to the Ground. Then I could get to be the optimum Wing Loading om a One Fifty Eight Predator, This Morning I only had one Egg for Breakfast. I will exercise this Morning also. Yes I am just like some of You. I just need to loose a few pounds to be an optimal weight for My Wing.

Most of You Southern California Pilots I have yet To Meet. But tHat will change for I will be coming down this May. I want to Fly at Your Guys Otto Lilienthal Meet.

You know I as I am sure just about everyone of You Guys Dreamed of Flying for a long time before I first launched a Glider. Well from My first Flight ever, where I Flew a Moyes Mars right through Fly ing My first Glider a Falcon 225. Through Flying My second Glider, My Predator 158. I have had an joyful experience with Free-Flight. i mean what an adventure that I have been Fortunate enough top have been able to experience.

Guys I realize that You do not know Me. But this Coming May. i hope to meet a number of You. Yes My first Flying stop that I will be Making is to Fly at Dockweiler Beach. I understand that There are a whole Plethora of inland sites from which a Pilot can Choose to Launch His, or Her Hang Glider From. So stand By I hope to be down in San Diego this coming May.

Walking, Working, not Typing. No Work will Get Me Back .

So My impending Day of Aviation Destiny, will Hopefully ocurre on May 23erd. When I walk Franks Condor into the Air. John sad what with any slope at all, and with any bit of a head wind that You can Walk a Condor into the Air. So that sounds good to Me. I say; Count Me in.

Sop here at Home I must really get serious with My Workouts. Yes am going to Procure some More Dumbbells' I want also have a spread of weight, so that I will be able to while standing, I will reach down to the Ground. Then I will raise the Dumbbell up and finish the movement with My Left arm fully extended in the Vertical. You see I have only like two Dumbells. I am hoping that Pilot-X and I will go to lunch on Monday. That way We can stop by Big-Five sporting goods.

My Sister Kathleen the Demon says; That when it comes to working out, recovering. You are More talk than what You Do. Well, I will be increasing what I do. I will Work My Body harder.

In fact now that I have eaten My Breakfast. I will go out front and work out with The Weights that I do have. For talking, Typing, Babbling about Ones recovery. No I must work More talk Less.

Close, Walking Flying, 180, Cigar, Almost.

So Yes I have Dreams. I dream of Flying again. I dream that onne Day I will be able to Fly My Predator. The Predator is the Finest Glider that I EVER SAw, or have I already have Countless Hours Flying My Predator. But at Present there are still a couple of Flights that I want to experience. I want to Fly a Hundred Miles in under four Hours. I want to Fly up to 25,000 feet. By the way, I hope to do that Legally. The term; "Close but no Cigar" comes to Mind regarding how I want to do an 180 degree Wing Over. I have gone over the Top darn close to 180, at least as steep as 170 Degrees. But it has always been a case of almost there.

So I have been Playing My Guitar this Morning. I believe that I have mentioned this Before on this Forum. I do not feel that this Post is too off Subject. Heck I am simply writing about what I have been doing so as to help My Body Fully recover from injuries that I incurred due to My last Flight, while I was Flying My Predator Thirteen Years ago. The Flight was not much of a Flight. I mean where I Pounded, was only about 7 or eight Miles From Launch. So being that I was venturing far enough away from launch. That My flight could at best be called an Sled Run. DISCLAIMER HERE: Ok I will type about My having Pounded by using some Humor. So please The way I see it, if I am going to Pound it will be only after I have flown over some Miles. Yes if I Pound I had better not be able to see where I launched from where I had ended My Flight by Pounding Myself into the Ground!

So when reading what I wrote, Please realize that I am attempting to use Humor as way to describe some of what I did. I Mean I really Pounded! So I do hope I get a few Chuckles from some of You Who read this Post.

Hello Craig, Bob, Frank, and ?.

So I am going to definitely Get My Ducks in a row regarding having my waiver and Gear all ready for me to head down South this coming May. I am not sure How I should get Myself down there. I do not know if I should take a Plane Flight, or a Train ride, or Possibly I will taker a Bus ride. Do any of You have any suggestions regarding which Mode of Transportation that I should Use in Order to get Myself Down There?

My Playing Music, Playing Guitar is such a good thing for Me to do. I mean after I had recovered to the Point that I could somewhat play. I mean I could Barely form a Chord with My left hand. Picking trough the Pentatonic Scale? Forget it. I was unable to press the strings with My left hand. But as Days Turned into Weeks, them Months, and then Years. By and large I got better and Better at having increased Finger Dexterity. today I now am able to Play My Guitars as well as I did Prior to March 28th 2010. 3-28-2010 the Day that had a major impact regarding how I would live My Life. Boy, When I finally did Pound Flying a HG I did not Screw around. It was the Case that when I finally did Pound. I really Pounded!

But that was what will be 13 Years ago when I finally do Fly again down in Southern California. I hope to Be up in the Sky on, or right around May 23rd. I hope to be Condor Chris, the Phoenix Guy in the Sky.

YOUR IMPUT IS REQUESTED:

OK I will need to get Myself down South, so that I can do the most serious, majorly Momentous Flight that I have ever had. I need to get down to Southern California. I no longer have a CDL. it was rendered null and void by some Doctor in conjunction with the DMV. After I Pounded. You see this; The taking of One's Driver's License is simply standard procedure if a Person has been in a Coma. I was Mentally submerged in a Coma for Three Months. The taking of My License, i had to just accept the Fact that This a standard SOP Deal. I had been in a Coma, so now I do not have a License. That is that.

So I will need to get Myself down to Southern California. Anyone have any Ideas as to what Form of transportation that I should use in order to get Myself down South? Should I take a Bus Ride, the Train? A Plane Flight, or should I just Fly My Predator down to South? Anyways as always Your thoughts welcome, Thank You Guys.

Start calling for prices. I took a train from San Diego to Los Angeles to fly Dockweiler on Christmas Day of 2017 and I really enjoyed it. Planes are obviously faster, but if you have the time, trains are a great option. You can get up and walk around, and in my experience, they are not very crowded. Start doing the research now and post what you find.
