Close to theme is mentioned:

Verification is needed on the specifications:
Quote: "Woopy Jump
More portable development model. Its wing is also inflatable and the glider empty weight is 7 kg (15 lb) and the aircraft can be folded into a bag 160 cm (63 in) long.[1]"

Distinguish between Woopy Fly and the Woopy Jump.

HISTORICAL
Picture

Since 1995, Laurent de Kalbermatten has been experimenting with inflation systems for all types of wings in order to obtain the lightest and least bulky flying machine possible.

With the Woopy-Fly concept and its blower inflation system, we are really getting closer to the desired goal. Hundreds of flights performed, both in free flight and in powered versions, as well as load and high-speed tests and intense computer simulation sessions enabled Laurent de Kalbermatten to validate the concept.

Picture
At the same time, with the invaluable support of its test pilot Guy-Bertrand Jaquier, new ideas and applications have been developed for “terrestrial” sports. The goal: to use this inflated wing concept to extend ski and snowboard jumps.

The WOOPY JUMP was born…

Feeling the lunar gravity in complete safety, moving between heaven and earth, these are two objectives of this new sport!

A mix between the pleasure of free flight and the mountains, an extraordinary sport, unparalleled sensations!

HOW TO PRACTICE
The principle of Woopy Jump is simple. It is a wing made of high quality nylon fabric and whose self-stable aerodynamic profile is shaped by inflation.

Two small electric fans of 6W each, powered by batteries, ensure this mission. Thus the Woopy Jump, unlike the paraglider, is fully inflated before take-off.

Picture

Just face the slope and ski. The Woopy Jump raises itself above the pilot. The latter only has to feel the lift and “jump” as he pleases. Once in flight, the air pressure is added to that of the fans, which then only have an auxiliary role.

The pilot is suspended by a harness from an aluminum and fiberglass spar which crosses the wing from side to side. Two handles integral with this spar are used to maneuver the device.

Piloting is done like a hang-glider with the possibility of acting on roll and pitch in order to extend and direct jumps. long jumps.

The Woopy Jump is implemented quickly (less than 10 minutes), is easily transported on all ski lifts, as well as it finds its place in the car like a pair of skis.

Folded in its cover, it measures 1m20 for a diameter of 25cm and is carried like a backpack. Ready to fly, it has a wingspan of 5.20m for a surface area of 10m2 and weighs around 10 kilos.

Re: The 5 ft-packed-HG Movement

For lack of a permanent name yet, the following addresses the "150 HG" of 5-ft packing for polite busable use. The wing will be a hybrid SS, 20-ft span, tip chord of 5 ft, root chord of 10 ft,, two parallel spanwise spars, two KPs, two QPs; the "basebar" of TCF will be line, not bar. Some sweep and some dihedral will be set. Operations: very conservative gliding.

The wing will be "line draggy" tolerated to achieve low mass in beams. Assembly will be quick: Unfold flat, insert one end of the non-completely-separated ribs, insert the separated ribs, insert the KPs, rotate wing for insertion of the two QPs, attach the aft special sail area's stay lines, attach fore and aft stay lines for KPs and QPs. Attach High Hat. Done. Check again all points. Jump test. Tighten rigging lines as needed.

Almost totally foldable" leaves some things to do before the folding.
Upon assembly unfolding will not be quite enough; there will be some things to insert or join to get the wing ready for flight.

The first main tiny pack will hold most of the "150": spreader beams, KPs (2), QPs(2), spars (two macro parallel in 5-ft segments), sail, rigging line. Most rigging lines will be firmly connected; only a few lines will have one end disconnected.
Some couplers will be in a second tiny pack along with the High Hat wing and LE applique compressed foam segments that firms shape of an airfoil.

Underway is a relatively fast-flying HG that will be very-much foldable; some of the spreader beams will fold into the pack while staying connected at one of their two ends, but some of the spreader beams will be fully removed to become separate parts to be rolled up with the main folded deal. The sail will remain fully attached to spars.

http://energykitesystems.net/7C/index.html can be mined for bowsprit "5" matters to come for tiny-pack deals. A fast wing seems to be birthing out of the bowels and reaches of that page.

Also, study: https://www.bautek.com/h%C3%A4ngegleiter/astir/
and any other bowsprit HG.

Sales of this wing are increasing because it can be used in 10 different sports.

Eventually Torrey Pines will be overrun.

It's too bad that they won't let that video play as an embedded video. I guess they want the traffic on their site.

I have to say that every use of that little wing looked like a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed that his favorite use was actually flying it (or "Wing Duning" as he called it):

If he liked that, I think he would really enjoy the ancient predecessor of that sport. I think it was called something like "hang gliding".

I added to their comments that the wing could be bridled and tailed for long-tether kiting. The video shows many uses of the wing using the short tethers of arm tendons and ligaments.
=============================================================================
The universe of tiny-packed hang gliders, seen and unseen yet, is essentially infinite in its design variations.
Newton might look at a sub-universe of the world he was seeing and commenting about. Even the sub-universe of tiny-packed HGs! The set of solutions to the tiny-packed HG will grow over time as interest in tiny-packed HGs grows.

Isaac Newton wrote:I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.

Solutions for the tiny-packed HG await discovery.

Awaking today, the following took high ground: A 5-beam Bow Bowsprit HG ... how to finish its aerodynamics without ribs and how to tiny pack it???
1. KP (option: split to two beams for V)
2. QP (queenpost)
3. QP (another queenpost)
4. Bowing span spar
5. Keel (... reaching to bowsprit)

Finishing options:
High Hat
Couplers
SS or DS sail
LE stuffers
Ribbing, but first exploration: no ribs
