Hey Hawks!
My sister wanted me to get a bone density test and I was thinking I should also
have a heart stress test done.

As I was leaving our apartment in Santa Fe and heading back to the house in Las Cruces I passed both tests without ever opening my wallet at the doctors office.

I had to make six trips up the 17 steps to the apartment to load my vehicle to come home. (at 7,000’ msl that is a good enough of a stress test for me.)

On the first trip (and trip is the key word here) I was carrying down a 16.5 gallon
plastic storage tub full of clean clothes when I did in fact trip and land at the bottom of the concrete stairs.

I got up, dusted myself off, and finished loading the vehicle.
(Why waist money on a bone density test after coming through that with only a scraped knee ? )

So have any of you been tested lately

Really enjoyed reading your profile. Ski kites? That was before sliced bread, wasn't it?

I did a test the other day at work to set some limits, climed a step ladder, singlehandedly lifted a 8"x8"x12' beam and set it in place. Only strained one small shoulder muscle.

In addition to the "field tests", all my blood work and p-test checked in the normal range today at VA. I say, if I have to slave like I do and even the med doc says I'm ok, then I should continue to fly. Just hope to get more airtime in '13.

I just reread this again and it finally sunk in---8" X 8" X 12' Isn't that real close to lifting a railroad tie all by yourself?

Well, it was Cedar, so probably not quite as heavy as a railroad tie. But I don't want to do it again, too often.
Yesterday it was screed off a concrete slab. That stooping and push/pull is a test for sure.

We've been having great weather. Those snow storms can stay up North. I don't know how anyone can stand the cold, north of Dallas.
