Safety Record of USHHGA

USHHGA seems to be well fulfilling the expectation of the FAA in terms of self-regulation of our sport among members. Pilots are respecting airspace traffic, people, and property.
We discuss that safety record here as part of the implementation of self-regulation in fulfillment of expectations of the F.A.A. (FAA) in F.A.R. 103.
Not included are tandem, towed, or powered ultralight flight systems. Only solo recreational airframed hang glider systems.
The online USHHGA Ground School continues to grow in quality and depth.
What have we for our USHHGA safety record?
We record any incidents amongst members and study those incidents in order to learn and to avoid causes of such incidents.
Report and discuss any airframed hang glider incident that is by a USHHGA member. Other types of objects used for arresting falls, like canopy parachutes (PGs), are not included in this intention; incidents with PGs might be reported in USPA or in paragliding forums or in topic threads examinging those devices, say at viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1582
