Hello Doug,

The U.S. Hawks has not declared war on the SHGA, and the U.S. Hawks does not support homeless housing in the Sylmar LZ. You might be reading too many fake news sites (unfortunately, they are far too common in this sport).

Perhaps you are correct Bob. There is no war. I just misinterpreted the technical difficulties I was experiencing using the SHGA forum as a hostile act.
Last summer an arson related brush fire damaged my hang glider storage sheds/Green houses so anyone hostile is an immediate suspect.

The Spring 2024 volume54 number 2 USHPA Pilot magazine states on page 66: USHPA members rated H3/P3 and higher are eligible to incease their liability insurance limits to $1 million/$1 million....

Maybe this is an offering for you to rejoin. You could try and post on the SHGA forum and ask. This would also test if the technical difficulties exist for other users.

I am getting ready to order supplies to repair my telescopic hang glider prototype leading edges from amazon prime.

I noticed a spelling error from one of my previous posts.

I typed "Homeless housing" would be built in the Sylmar LZ.

That text should be replaced with "Bullet Train Tunnel".

This addresses the Microsoft AI saying the shortpack could be fragile.
from the hanggliding.org forum:
https://finsterwalder-charly.de/en/hang ... tures.html

"...Unbeatable light and sturdy
Thanks to high quality materials and a technically mature construction, the DHV-test runs were unable to damage the Fexes even by top speeds.
Years of hard usage in flight schools have shown, that despite the considerably lighter weight and the short pack possibility our Fexes are just as sturdy as any other glider on the market. All construction parts have proven their longevity. Thanks to their high quality used Fexes have a high resale value.

We use only seamless drawn tubing from 7075 T6 alloy with a stregth of 650 N/mm² of special dimensions prepared for Finsterwalder. Those tubes are eddy current-tested, mechanically polished and anodised internally and externally.
All Fexes are delivered with super light-weight airfoil AEROFOIL® and AEROSAFE® king post and A-frame uprights and forged, aerodynamically shaped fittings from avitation aluminium. .."

Finsterwalder could license the technology to Wills Wing in Mexico, import the glider to USA duty free using USMCA Treaty and transfer the technology to Moyes in Austrailia using AWKUS treaty and if Trump wins the election he will impose 60% tariff on Vietnamese paragliders.

Good notes, dhmartens!
--------------------------------------------

Consider nestable parts or telescopic parts, tapered parts, CF parts, optimized nestable ribbing ... over the Chanute-biplane direction; what might be done for busability on the direction?

We are on hold for the moment because Russia is using this movement to deliver weapons against Ukraine.

"To Serve Man" ... it's a Cook Book!!!

That reminds me of the way that USHPA ... "serves" hang gliding.
