This was my speech from October 7th, 2025. It was the two year anniversary of the Hamas attack on Isreal.

Interestingly, "Craig Muhonen" (who had posted earlier in this topic) tried to suppress that speech. Here's the story...

Craig, Ernie, and I were all planning to speak that day (October 7, 2025). I had sent Craig a copy of my speech via email at the start of the meeting (around 10am), and Craig responded with this text message to both Ernie and I:

NO !! Bob and Ernie, if you include anything in your speeches about Oct 7th, I'm done!!
Follow my lead and open with prayers for a greeting widow of one of the most liked human beings of our era, and now curagesly taken up being CEO of the company he built from scratch as a 14 year old kid. Like I said, If either of you say ANYTHING about Oct. 7th, I'M DONE!

Ernie spoke early in the non-agenda session. He gave a great speech. I spoke later and was second to last in the queue. Craig was the final speaker in the queue. But after my speech (above) Craig hung up and didn't speak at all. You can hear it after my speech at approximately 1 minute and 53 seconds into the video. The City Clerk said:

Thank you. Our final speaker, [long pause removed from the video] I think he they lowered their hand. I no longer see them in the queue. That does conclude non-agenda public comment.

In a subsequent text message to Ernie and I on October 9, 2025 at 18:53, Craig wrote:

I admonished Bob Kuczewski for blatantly injecting the Oct 7th evil attacks on Israel, right in between Ernie Casco's passionat please to implement the SD RECREATIONAL WAIVER at our most treasured Torrey Pines Glider Port. According to Craig, speaking of the "Oct 7th evil attacks on Israel" on October 7th, was somehow disrespecting people who lost loved ones. That doesn't make any sense at all. People who lost loved ones would want to know how this happened. I believe Craig's efforts to suppress my speech reveal some other agenda that has yet to come to light.

Craig, would you like to comment on why you thought my speech was so disrespectful that you refused to speak at all?

Chaos arises from people who say one thing and do another. They're called liars and backstabbers, and they do cause a lot of chaos.

My opening was, and would have been given if you would have taken my suggestion, "demand" was probably too strong, and Ernie helped me with this:

We experienced the same takeover in Telluride Colorado by USHPA, as you did at Torrey Pines Gliderport.
This is a repeated crime at our National Treasure, the Torrey Pines Glider Port.

Why has the City allowed a corrupt concessionaire, ACA, a subset of USHPA, a national insurance racketeering operation that makes well over a million dollars a year, charging the public $200 for a 20-minute ride on a substandard aircraft ( FAA document)

We have a joy joyriding operation, posing as a reputable school, with "under-the-influence" employees This is public endangerment to free recreational pilots.
It is illegal for ACA, Air California Adventure, to block public access for a license and a fee, eliminating our recreational rights and freedoms

I am one of over 700 who signed Mr. Casco's petition the well written, "SD RECREATIONAL WAIVER"
The Waiver separates the business monopoly that USHPA and AIR CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE have at TPGP.

The "SD RECREATIONAL WAIVER" secures City Liability, Restores public, allowing all parties to remain in good faith operation as a club, which is a WIN for public recreational rights and freedoms, and a WIN for the Mayor's Office, restoring public rights and trust, putting a feather in his cap. LET'S DO THIS.

Why did you divert from a prayer for Erika Kirk, to, "guns and paragliding"? which you started in 2023 and gave speeches to city council about, showing many video clips that you compiled about motorized paragliders, supposedly trained at the glider port and then, diverting again, and talking about "citizens rights", and diverting again about "free speech". From a prayer to motorized paragliders, to citizens rights to free speech and then to suppression of your and Ernie's speech by me, (Ernie never said that I was suppressing his speech), I never wanted to talk to city council about your 2023 and then Oct 7th speech, who told you that, WHO? I never wanted to suppress your speech, I just wanted to change your opening of it, but you didn't and so I did.

My speech is ready to go and I know how to deliver it on a zoom call, and now may be the perfect time since you and Ernie worked together in front of LJSA for a win, (and keep pushing on that letter to be written and delivered in a public setting instead of some staffer slipping it away, we'll see), and I think the focus should be on Ernie's petition and waiver over and over again until it is written into law. The advisory board thing is just politic, it's who will be on that board that counts. If letters of support from prominent people keep flowing in, city will have to make it an agenda item and open for honest debate instead of "Your Two Minutes Are Up, click", concentrate on one thing at a time.
It's going to be a tough nut to crack because the ushpa's have such a strong grip on councils "short hairs"

And OBW, you told certain people a long time ago that you would "Fix" the situation at the glider port and they believed you. People have been hurt that you couldn't do so. The corruption can only be weeded out by a deep look at the cooked books, and that takes way more than good speeches, plus, there is the "issue" with USHPA ties since 2008 with an undercover "drug" cop who may still be undercover.

Craig, you insult the memory of Charlie Kirk by using his wife as an excuse to hide your own motives in trying to suppress free speech at the San Diego City Council.

Maybe you should ask Erika Kirk if she would want her name and the loss of her husband (who deeply honored free speech) to be abused to attempt to silence free speech in the halls of our government. What do you want to bet that she would be as disgusted with you as I am?

Actually, I don't think your memory is that poor. Instead, I think you've been caught dividing our reform efforts at Torrey Pines Gliderport, and now you're desperate to divert attention from the lies that you told Ernie behind my back to divide us.

Craig, if you ever had a burning desire to honor the memory of Charlie Kirk, you sure haven't shown it. With all the thousands of words back and forth between Ernie and you on emails and texts, I was stuck in the middle and over reacted to both of you, and stepped in hoping I could "balance", but my stupidity only put a bigger wedge in between two people who I know were/are friends.
I know that you have good intentions and you took me under your "wing" and taught me everything I know about computers. You are a good teacher and underestimate yourself as such.
I apologize for disrespecting you in the way that I did, I was wrong, and there is no, "but" here, and straying into the political and psychological world, where I have no business.
We live in different worlds, not saying one is better, but I'm a Vietnam Veteran, a husband, father, grandfather, and now great grandfather, and plumber, and have my opinion about Hang Gliding, and the takeover by USHPA, and I will continue writing about that.
I'm going to shy away from the Torrey corruption issue, because I've overstepped my bounds, especially with you, my teacher.

Craig, in my younger days, I taught science classes for gifted and talented students. Teachers would find my lessons in a catalog and call me up to make an appointment where I would teach a lesson for an hour or two and get paid for it. I was terrible at keeping a schedule, and the inevitable eventually happened. I got a call from an irate teacher demanding to know why I wasn't there. I had totally forgotten about the appointment, and I explained that it was too late in the day and too far for me to make it there. She hung up on me very angrily. I called her back after school and offered to teach the class for free at the time of her choosing, so she could use that budget money to purchase another class from me or anyone else. She agreed to that and I showed up - on time - about a week later. I started my class by apologizing to all of the students. My speech went something like this:

Before we start today, I want to apologize to this class for not being here last week. It was my fault because I was not well organized, and I'm very sorry to you and your teacher. But this is a good opportunity to talk about making mistakes and how to correct them. I think there are three steps to fixing a mistake:

The first thing you always have to do when you make a mistake is to ADMIT IT. Admit it right up front. Don't make excuses. Don't try to make the other person feel guilty or at fault. Sometimes that's the hardest part, but it's also the most important. Admitting a mistake removes the argument about who was right or wrong. Admitting a mistake shows honor and respect to the person who was harmed. It's the first thing that you should do. When your teacher called me last week, that was the first thing I did. So there was no argument. She was in the right, and I was in the wrong. Period.

The second thing you should always do is offer to FIX IT. And I don't mean fix it to the level that you think is appropriate. You have to fix it to the satisfaction of anyone you have wronged. You may never know the harm that your mistake has caused another person, so you are not qualified to decide what will fix it. Only they know how badly they were harmed and they should decide what fixes it. In this case, I offered to teach today's class for free so your teacher can use her budget to bring you another class from me or someone else in the future. I asked if that would fix my mistake to her satisfaction, and she agreed that it would. So that's why you'll be getting today's fun science lesson for free and another one from me or someone else in the future (the kids cheered).

Finally, the third thing that you should do when you make a mistake is to take an action to PREVENT IT in the future. In this case, I made my mistake because I was being sloppy with my planning. When teachers called me, I would write notes on scraps of paper and that was not a reliable system. So I recently purchased this planner (I held up a new calenar/planner that I had purchased), and I hope that will keep me from making a similar mistake in the future.

The students were thrilled, and the teacher was beaming. We had a great class, and the teacher ordered the second class from me, and I showed up on time. I used the planner religiously, and I never missed another class.

Craig, going behind my back to divide Ernie and I has had unknown consequences at this time. Your apology sounds fine enough, but it's hollow without a plan to FIX IT and PREVENT IT in the future. And even if you were to fix it and describe a way to prevent it in the future, I have no basis upon which to believe you. Some things, once broken, are nearly impossible to repair.

You quoted several passages from the Bible above. The one that I think applies in this case is loosely "You will know them by their fruits". You have an opportunity to help fix the problems at Torrey. You can do that by speaking to the City Council and by guiding Ernie in ways that are productive and not destructive. If you do those things, then people will know you by the fruits of your efforts. As it stands now, the fruits of your efforts are division, hostility, and distrust. But the future is ahead of you. Make it into one that you'll be proud to look back on.

ADMIT IT.   First, that's not a full admission because I still don't know how much backstabbing Craig had done. The examples that I have seen were sent by mistake, so there's no way for me to assess the breadth and width of this betrayal. So the "Admit it" part is only partially satisfied.

FIX IT.   Second, there has been no attempt to fix it. Fixing it requires undoing the damage done. Craig hasn't made any apparent effort to do so.

PREVENT IT.   Third, there has been no showing by Criag that this will not happen again. Once trust is broken, it is very difficult to repair.
